Sam calls Richie to come pick them up. Eliza wheels Tara through the hospital as they make their way toward the doors. As they leave, Sidney calls, "Samantha?"

"It's Sam," She corrects.

"I'm——"

"I know who you are," Sam cuts her off. Sidney sighs and looks down to Tara.

"I hope you're okay," She says.

"Listen, I'm sorry——"

"You're Billy's daughter," Sidney interjects. Richie senses a private conversation surfacing.

"Uh, we'll bring the car around," He says. Eliza nods and begins to push Tara out of the hospital, leaving Sidney and Sam alone.

Once they are gone, Sam says, "Yeah. I'm his daughter." She becomes defensive, "I'm sorry if that's weird for you."

"No, no, it's..." Sidney trails off, "I've been through this. A lot. You want to talk?"

Sam's tone changes, "I appreciate it. And I'm... I'm really sorry about Dewey. But I'm taking my sister away from all this."

Sam then storms out the doors of the hospital, with Sidney and Gale following.

"I tried running too," Sidney calls after her, "It doesn't work, it always follows."

"All due respect, that's your life, not mine," Sam replies without turning to speak.

"I'm not so sure about that."

"What do you want from me, lady?" Sam asks coldly.

"Hey! Watch your tone, new girl," Gale scolds, "You know how they always say it goes back to the original? Here's the original." She motions toward Sidney.

"I want your help," Sidney says, "because you're wrong, this is your life now. Which means that whoever this is, is going to keep coming for you."

"So?"

"So I want you to help us kill him," Sidney tells her.

"You want me to help you and the host of a morning show commit murder?" Sam questions.

"Correct," Gale confirms.

"Yeah," Sidney answers.

"And I'm what, in this scenario?" Sam inquires, "The bait? The helpless victim?"

"If the shoe fits..." Gale trails off.

"You're not helpless, Sam," Sidney tells her, "He killed your friend, he killed ours. And I have kids, which means I won't sleep until he's in the ground."

"Look, I'm sorry about what this has done to your lives," Sam changes the subject, "But no matter what you or the killer or anyone says, this isn't my story."

Just then, Richie pulls up with Eliza and Tara in the back of the car. He honks the horn, "All right. Let's get the fuck out of town, huh?"

"Sorry, that's my boyfriend, Richie," Sam says to the two older women.

"Nice to meet you——We met," He awkwardly stutters, "Sam, please get in the car so we never have to see these people again."

"Sam——"

"No. We're leaving," Sam cuts Sidney off before she can say anything else, "That's the only way I can protect Tara... Eliza now too."

Sidney finally gives up as Sam gets into the passenger seat, "Okay, good luck."

Sam turns back, kind of surprised she is giving up that easily, "You too."

Gale is left speechless as Richie drives away, "Well, that went fucking horribly."
