-3 weeks later-

I sat on my bed, dazedly reading a book while chaos reeked among itself outside on the streets of Hell.

It was all so...

Boring!!

I haven't been to the hotel in weeks, and frankly...I've started to get tired of working both I.M.P. and at Voxtech.

That's it.

I sat up from my bed and tossed the book on a pillow.

Pulling out my phone, I texted Angel Dust.
"Coming to the hotel. That old-timey prick can suck my dick if he gives me a hard time about it."

I grabbed my coat and car keys and ran out the door.

My hellphone buzzed.
"That's the spirit toots! Be here in 10!"

Smiling at his text, I slipped the device in my pocket and headed to the hotel.

Walking in, I set my things down and was greeted by the staff.

That's when I heard an annoyed scoff come from the bar. I turned to see who it was.
Surprise, surprise...

Alastor.

"Not you..." He grumbled, swishing around his whiskey.

"Good to see you too asshole!" I called.
His eyes narrowed in anger but he turned away, ignoring me.

"Why is she even here?" He complained, not taking his eyes off of his drink.

"Well..." I stopped. Why am I here?

To piss him off!

But I can't say that.

"To spend time with my favorite demons of course!" I replied. "That includes you, Alastor!"

He scoffed. "Does it now?" He said, rolling his eyes.

"Mhm! You WILL be my friend! You WILL like me! I'll make sure of it!! Eventually...but it will happen!" I chuckled, pointing at him as I left the bar.

And out of the corner of my eye, I could've sworn I saw him smirk.

"Bad idea toots..." Angel said, shaking his head.

"I beg to differ! I truly think I will!" I protested.

He sighed. "He really hates you..."

"Not for long!" I said, trying my best to stay positive.

"Whatever you say," he replied with a shrug.

Right then and there...it officially became a promise that I made to myself.

The radio demon will have a change of heart.

A/N: Okay, I will confirm something about Vox...

He will end up playing a bigger role later in the book and affect the story a lot!
