2 Days Later

"Hyejin, come on." Our choreographer sighed and stopped the music. "You're missing the beat on the last verse... Again."

She went beside me and proceeded to dance along to try and help me understand the last few movements of the choreography.

While I was dancing along her the girls moved to the side of the room to rest for a moment, and as she was about to play the song once more, Stray Kids walked in.

"Good morning ladies!" Chan smiled "We reserved the room from 9:30, hope it's okay."
"Yes, yes. Apologies. We are just finishing up, is that okay?"
"Yeah, yeah take your time."

The boys set their bags aside and sat down next to the other girls as the choreographer pressed start on the song.

I didn't matter how hard I tried to focus I couldn't stop staring at the boys' eyes on the mirror, I had too much on my mind, I hadn't slept well in days and having them there wasn't helping.

As the last verse where I always messed up approached I started getting nervous, the choreographer shouted the pacing out loud so that I could try to follow it, but it was no use once again.

"Hyejin-ah! What is wrong with you today?! It's 2, 3, 2, 3!" She shouted at me as she showed me the steps once again, giving me one long look of both confusion and frustration before sighing "Let's wrap up for today. Tomorrow I hope to see you more focused and with your wits about you."

She took out the pen-drive from the stereo and bowed to the boys before leaving, as soon as she did I just threw myself on the floor, panting and frustrated with myself.

Chan walked over and shadowed over me "Don't worry, take all the time you need, I know it can be frustrating."

I smiled at him and he extended me his hand to help me get up and I took it "Thanks... We will leave now."

"You can rest on the side if you want to, no need to rush."

Once again we exchanged smiles as I hurried to walk to the side of the room, avoiding looking at the other boys. I sat down with Minah and the others.

"It's okay, Jinnie. Everybody has these days." They tried to comfort me.
"Please don't. I know you're trying to help but I just want to be quiet right now." I buried my head on my knees.

Minah gently pat my back, I was deep into thought when a song started playing, I found myself lifting my head slightly to look at the dance.

I was watching them each individually, I couldn't honestly distinguish who were the main dancers because they were all equally good, but Minho did stand out from everyone because of his agility.

Suddenly my gaze shifted and Seungmin's eyes met mine through the mirror, the corners of his mouth curled up slightly creating a little smile.

Throughout the rest of the song I just couldn't take my eyes off of him, our gaze met a few more times and his lips would always curl up involuntarily, almost like he had an instinctive reaction to my stare.

I was still focused on him when Minho came back into my sight, his reflection covering Seungmin's. I was surprised to see his eyes looking back at me, he had this look on his face, almost like he noticed how I was looking at Seungmin and was trying to catch my attention.

The song was finally over and we cheered for them before making our way out of the room.

"Jinnie?" Minah intertwines my arm with hers "Are you okay?"
"I'm okay." I smiled at her.

We made our way to the dorm and sat down for a while before showering. Minah and I made our way to the studio to record a few things that were missing for the final release of our new song and to my surprise it was actually going pretty well.
