"Script" - Lee Know

chapter three

NEXT MORNING

I got up early to make sure I could shower and get ready in time for the photoshoot. I finished dressing up and left the girls back at the dorm to go meet with Lee Know and our managers downstairs.

I left the dorm and ran into Minho right outside the door as if he was just about to knock.

"Oh, sorry." He took a step back.
"Morning to you too."
"Good morning, let's go?"

I nodded and we walked downstairs to the entrance of the building, both Minho and I were instructed to wear black clothes and try to cover up as much as possible to not be spotted on the way there.

A van awaited us outside, a member of the staff opened the door for us and Minho signaled for me to go in first, I did so and he sat down next to me right after, leaving our managers to sit together.

The drive there felt long but it was actually quite quick, the studio was a 20 minute drive away. Minho was quiet the whole time but I saw him steal a few glances at me.

We arrived to the studio and were both escorted to different changing rooms.

"Hello Hyejin, I am Yeri and I will be your stylist for today!" A kind young woman greeted me.
"Nice to meet you." I retributed the smile.
"So today we have two options for you, they are both black because that is the main theme of the photoshoot, hopefully that's alright with you." She grabbed the two hangers, on each of them a black dress, one simpler and the other one a bit classier.

I touched both of them to inspect the fabric and picked up the classier one to try it out, Yeri helped into it and I looked at my reflection in the mirror

"Haha." I let out a little laugh "I look amazing."
"You really do, miss! Should we try the other option?"
"No, I like this one a lot."

She made a few adjustments and eventually sat me down in the hair and makeup chair, the makeup artist and hairstylist did their magic and I was ready in no time.

"Hyejin-ah, you look so good!" My manager said as she stared at my reflection.
"Now I'm even excited for the photoshoot!"
"I'm sure Lee Know will be absolutely stunned!" The stylist said.

Oh, so the staff doesn't know this whole thing is a ruse... Interesting.

I left the changing room and made my way to the main studio, as I came in I saw Minho, his back turned to me and his hands on his pockets as he spoke to the photographer in between laughs.

The photographer fell quiet and gave me a wide smile as he watched me come in "Wow."

Minho's interest peaked and he looked over his shoulder at me, then fully turning to look at me. I could swear I almost saw his mouth gaping a little before he cleared his throat and walked towards me.

"You look very nice." He said, holding a pressed smile.
"Thank you, you don't look too bad yourself Minho."

His lips curled up slightly after hearing me call him Minho and he extended his hand to me, an invitation to follow him into the shooting area.

We settled down in the center of the room as the photographer started giving us instructions.

It was very awkward at first, we were both unsure of each other's boundaries when it came to physical touch and the photographer noticed we were a bit uncomfortable.

"Let's give them a minute." He stated to the rest of the staff, instructing everyone to leave us alone for a second, including our managers who followed along.
