Rebelle's POV:

The same class Leo just walked in a while ago...

Does this mean I'm in the same class as him? Hell no! Why does this always happen to me?

I let out a frustrated sigh, and slowly made my way towards the class. I opened the door, to see half of the students sat down. I could feel everyone's eyes on me.

Half of the students were coming inside the class. There wasn't any teacher now. I noticed Leo sitting on his chair, scrolling through his phone. He hadn't noticed me yet.

The students were looking at me and soon were minding their own business. All of them sat down as soon as a teacher walked in. There was only e seat left for me.

And that was the seat where Leo was behind.

I gulped as I slowly made my way towards the seat. Leo looked up and we made eye contact. He stared at me without any emotion.

I just sat down quietly, ignoring his stares.

"We have a new student?" The teacher suddenly says, looking over at me. He smiled at me and motioned for me to go in the middle of the class.

"Aren't you going to introduce yourself?" He asked. I stared at him and smiled nervously. I got up from my seat and walked over to the teacher.

"Hi. My name's Rebelle. I just transferred here from Greenwood High School." I said. My heart was beating extremely fast.

The teacher nodded.

"Okay Rebelle, that's a beautiful name. You can sit now" He said and I smiled at him. I quietly sat down and just pulled out the subject I had my first class.

I looked at the paper Ms. Smith gave me, and saw that I had history first lesson. And the teachers name was Mr. Wills.

I opened the book, and Mr. Wills started talking about the topic.

It's actually not that bad here. I mean, it's better than my old school. And I have Jane too, so it'll be easy, I think.

"Now, I'll give everyone a paper of sheet, and you're going to pass it back to the others. You will write an essay" Mr. Wills said making my whole face drop.

I have to pass the paper to Leo.

He's right behind me. No no no! Could this get any worse?!

Mr. Wills gave the first students the paper for them to pass behind, including me. My hands were shaking. I took a deep breathe, turning around to see Leo typing something on his phone.

I left kinda relieved.

I just left the paper there, and quickly turned around. But the next words that left Mr. Wills' mouth, shocked me. I froze.

"You're going to work in groups. And the group will be made of two people." He said. I mentally cursed him.

"Mr. Moretti, can you please take the phone away?" He suddenly says to Leo. I didn't dare to look back. I didn't want to be in a group with him.

I heard Leo sigh angrily.

All of the students were separated into groups. And suddenly, the girl that Jane spoke to me about, Stacy, talked.

"Mr. Wills, can I be in a group with Leo?" She asked excitedly. Mr. Wills looked over at Leo.

"Mr. Moretti, are you okay to be in a group with Stacy?" He said to Leo. Please say yes, please say yes.
