I can't wait for Christmas!!

Rebelle's POV:

"You may all go now" The teacher said as the bell rang. I sighed and closed my book putting it inside my backpack. I turned around and saw Leo's empty seat. He said he was gonna come to class and meet me here.

He came to school but didn't even show up to class. I'm kinda worried. After the call he got from his dad he left I think. I grabbed my backpack and walked out of the classroom.

As I was walking I heard some girls say.

"I really wanna go to prom with Leo! I wanted to ask him today but he didn't show up" She desperately said. Another girl chuckled.

"Well I'm glad you didn't. He is taken didn't you know that? He's dating Rebelle from the same class as him. Everyone was shocked when they found out. Technically, when he told them" She shrugged.

The other girl looked at her confused. "I don't know her. Ugh anyways I hope I go with Liam then" She excitedly said.

I shook my head as I watched them gossip. These desperate little creatures.

"Hey, you okay?" I heard Jane from behind me. I turned around and smiled.

"Yeah I'm okay. Let's go now I was waiting for you" I said and she nodded. We walked out of the school building, exiting the entry.

"So, tell me now" I grinned, nudging her shoulder. She acted confused.

"Tell you what?" She asked playing dumb. I rolled my eyes sighing.

"Uhm, Liam? What did you two talk about?" I asked. I noticed her cheeks turn pink. Ohh this girl is in love.

She shrugged. "He just told me something that's all"

"Oh come on Jane! I'm not a kid you can fool. Tell me please!" I groaned and she laughed, holding her hands up in surrender.

"Fine fine. I'll tell you" She finally said, and I was impatiently waiting for her to speak. I hope it's what I think it is.

"He asked me to go to prom with him" She said in a breath, and my eyes went wide. A big smiled covered my face as I let out a small excited scream.

"Oh my god!! I knew it!" I said and hugged her. She laughed and hugged me back.

"Knew what?" She asked when we pulled away. I smirked and rolled my eyes.

"That you like each other. It was so obvious anyway the way you two look at each other. You just needed a little time to admit" I sweetly smiled and she shook her head smiling shyly.

I forgot I was about to call Leo. I took out my phone, and turned to Jane.

"Jane stay here I'll come back. I have to make a call" I explained. She nodded and laid against the wall, talking out her phone.

I walked a little away, and dialed his number. I called him, waiting for him to answer. But I got disappointed when he didn't pick up. I decided to call him one more time, trying my luck. But he still didn't answer. I angrily cut the call, and put the phone to my bag.

What is up with this guy? He comes to school but he doesn't show up to class and he doesn't tell anything.  He doesn't answer to calls. I wonder where he is.

I walked back to Jane. She looked up from her phone.

"Let's go" I said, my mood changed.

"Woah. You look angry. What happened?" She asked as we were walking on the street.

"Nothing important" I said. She shrugged and walked humming Moana's song. I glance at her, a small smile covering my lips.

"You're really obsessed with Disney huh?" I smiled and she nodded.

"I mean duh! Who isn't?"

True actually.

After some time of walking and Jane singing different Disney songs, we arrived at the mansion. The guards opened the gate, and we stepped in.

"I have to get to work now" Jane said. I nodded. We walked inside the mansion, and walked upstairs. After saying bye to Jane I went directly to my room. I closed the door and sat on my bed. I stared at the ground.

What could be so urgent that made Leo leave school. He doesn't even answer my calls. My thoughts were all over the room. I laid back on my bed, staring at the ceiling up.

Now I have nothing to do. I can't work anymore. And I can't just wander around the mansion while my other friends work. It would not seem nice.

"Stop it Rebelle" I said so myself. I need to stop thinking about bad things. I got up, taking my backpack. I took a notebook out and a pencil along with an eraser.

I walked to the window and sat down on the floor with my legs crossed. I took the pencil and stared outside. Then I began drawing.

Drawing whatever I saw outside. Garden, men, guards, sky, clouds, cars, gate. Anything my eyes could see. This nights take me a while, but I'm bored.

I've had a passion for drawing since I was a kid. I remember how I would draw silly things like a house or the Christmas tree, and show it to my mother. She always loved my drawings and encouraged me to follow my passion. She was my biggest inspiration. And my dad too.

They both loved my drawings even if they were bad. I was a kid back then and couldn't understand it. But now I remember how much they wanted me to follow my dreamed and become someone in life.

Unfortunately, those dreams faded away along with them. After my parents left me, I was dead. Like a dead living person. The only thing keeping me alive was my breath.

I was like 13 when they passed away. It was the biggest shock of my life. I lived with my aunt until I turned 16. And then, I've been living by myself. I changed too many jobs, too many homes.

A tear rolled down my eye as I thought about everything. I can't believe I went through all of these. I didn't deserve that. I've done nothing but be a nice person to everyone mostly. I've never done something very bad.

Okay, as a kid we all do mistakes. But small mistakes. I haven't killed, I haven't robbed, I haven't done anything like this.

I really didn't deserve this.
