Being the little sister of Maple Hill's figure skating queen is already a hard bargain to drive. Still, now that my older sister Anastasia is dating Nathan Hawkins I am pushed even further into the dark shadow of my sister. Now being the most introverted person on the planet and not wanting to party is real but when you have a popular sister she wants to drag me to every party so I can "socialize" and "possibly get a boyfriend".
I guess I can't argue now since I'm already standing in the living room of Nate Hawkins's place while people drink and smoke around me. I want to run and hide, I honestly hate crowds. I travel through the crowd of people and make my way up the stairs searching for an empty room to sit in. I find one where no people are making out on the bed and I sit in the corner and scroll on my phone.
Then I hear the door open slowly and I see a taller man, not Nate but someone on the hockey team walking in. I notice his broad shoulders, sharp jawline, fluffy auburn hair, dark brown eyes, and glowy brown skin as he looks at me on the floor. I look down hoping not to be yelled at for being in his room. He just stares down at me a little confused.
