On the Ground:

The Skylands Port materialized before the Icy Warriors, its ethereal islands suspended like dreams in the sky. Athena, now preferring her real name, led the way. Her Light-Light Fruit allowed her to hover above the misty expanse, her light sword at her side—a beacon in the celestial fog.

Aery glanced at her. "Atenalaya, you've been here before, right?"

Athena rolled her eyes. "Yes, Captain. I've navigated these skies. But don't call me Atenalaya—it sounds like a forgotten constellation. Call me Athena for short."

A Scientist sprawled on the ground island, his wares displayed on a makeshift blanket. He was a mink, a cat to be exact. "Ah," he said, "I see you've found the Dark Step teacher. But my fighting style surpasses his. Only 500,000 Berries for me to teach you." The crew faced each other, "Okay, that's way too overpriced." said Athena. "Yeah, but it could come in handy." Mikey added. Jeremy rolled his eyes and stepped forward.

Jeremy, ever resourceful, paid the hefty fee. His last berries vanished, but he'd gained a new skill—the Electric Fighting Style.

The crew split up. Jeremy and Athena flew up to the Skylands, leaving Aery, Logan, and Mikey behind. Their mission: find a cook or a doctor. They decided to go to the jungle. It held answers—the Blox Fruits Gacha awaited. "Ah your back. Here for some fruits?"

The gacha spun for the price of a few berries. Logan received a Light Fruit, its glow illuminating his grin. Mikey got the Spider Fruit, and Aery—the Phoenix Fruit. They devoured their newfound powers except for Mikey, flames and light intertwining.

Mikey handed Aery the Spider Fruit. "Logan can fly now," he said. "Send him this fruit to Jeremy. He's going to need something better."

Aery nodded. Logan took off, his light flight glinting in the sunlight. Meanwhile, Aery and Mikey set sail, guided by the map Athena had left behind. The open seas beckoned, but they lacked a navigator.

As they sailed, a storm brewed—a tempest of wind and rain. Mikey glanced at the darkening sky. "We should turn back," he said.

Aery laughed. "We'll be fine. There's nothing to worry about."

But fate had other plans. The sea churned, and a colossal whirlpool materialized—a maw hungry for ships. The Frostfire trembled, and Aery and Mikey were sucked in.

"You just had to open your big mouth!" Mikey shouted, struggling against the current.

Aery grinned. "Don't bother. We're fresh meat." Mikey looked at Aery, "HOW CAN YOU BE SO CALM ABOUT THIS?!"

And with that, they vanished into the vortex, the world spinning around them. The storm swallowed them whole, and the Frostfire spiraled downward, deeper into the abyss.

In the Sea: The Battle Beneath the Waves

The whirlpool swallowed Mikey and Aery, dragging them into its watery depths. Aery struggled against the currents, his lungs burning for air. But Mikey, revealing his true form, removed his cape, and there it was—a shark fin growing from his back. He created an air bubble, saving Aery from drowning. Now, they could breathe.

As they landed in an underwater city, they saw a burning village to their right. Mikey gestured urgently. "We need to get out of here before the air bubble dissipates."

Aery nodded, his mind racing. Mikey was a sharkman—a revelation that defied easy categorization. When people awakened their races, their true nature emerged. Mikey's fin was short, but he could swim with unmatched grace. Aery looked back for a moment.
