In a world of routine and monotony,
Where every day is a never-ending story,
I find myself lost in a sea of grey,
A life that's dull and lacking in glee.
The sun rises and sets with no surprise,
The days all blend together in my eyes,
No thrill or excitement, just the same old grind,
A life that's as dull as a dish of plain rice.
I long for adventure, for something new,
For a spark of passion, for a fire to break through,
But all I get is the same old same old,
A life that's as boring as a book that's old.
I try to shake things up, to make a change,
But it's all just the same, no matter the range,
I'm trapped in this rut, this endless loop,
A life that's as boring as a never-ending sleep.
So I dream of escape, of breaking free,
Of finding a life that's full of glee,
But until then, I'm stuck in this rut,
A life that's as boring as a monotony.
