If eyes could talk, oh what a tale they'd tell
Of all the wonders they have witnessed well
From dawn's first light to dusk's farewell
They've seen it all, both great and small
They've watched as lovers' lips entwined
And as the sun's rays danced across the line
They've seen the stormy skies abate
And the stars twinkle like diamonds in the state
They've seen the world with all its might
From towering mountains to endless light
And in their depths, a story's told
Of all the secrets the world has unfold
They've seen the beauty and the pain
Of life's journey, with all its gain and strain
And though they cannot speak, they'll tell
A tale of love, of life, and of all that's swell
So let your eyes be your guide
And let them speak of all they've tried
For in their gaze, a world of wonder lies
And all the tales they've seen, they'll tell with surprise.
