Judie never really minded hunting but when Nate had to be there, she was agitated very quickly.
It's not that Nate in general is annoying, it's her rambling that got on her nerves quickly.
Judie had spotted a deer once and she was practically drooling but one yap from Nate scared the delicious deer.
Nate was sat in the corner for an hour until she stopped rambling.
They had to eat squirrel for 4 months, it was starting to make Judie lose her appetite.
"Nate, I cannot have you disrupting my hunting time, the only time we get fed."
"Last time, you had your 'hunting time' you nearly damn died." Judie scoffed.
"You sound like my father." Judie deadpanned, rolling her eyes before rolling her shoulders.
"That's because I am your father." Nate said in a deep voice, Judie pursed her lips to stop an amused smile before shoving Nate away from her gently.
"Just stay here, okay?" Judie said. "But-" "Wasn't a question, Nate." Judie began to walk down the porch, her knives at her waist and her gun in hand.
"Fine!" Nate arms flew up as she sneered. "Fuckin' hell." Nate continued to murmur to herself as Judie began her journey on hunting.
Judie rubbed her face tiredly, she was very tired after staying up on watch, but she wanted Nate to feel safe and to keep Nate safe, she had to stay up for her.
Seeing their dinner sitting up on a tree, she smirked. "Well, there you are." As she readied her knife, an arrow flung into its head, making Judie stumble back.
Judie hid behind a tree, throwing her head back, bumping her head into the tree. "I know your there, I saw ya, come on out." She heard a harsh voice, sounding familiar from yesterday.
She was then grabbed by the forearm and slammed into the nearest large rock. "I thought I told your ass not to follow us!" Daryl shouted, slamming her into the rock.
"I wasn't, I swear!"
"I don't give a shit on what you swear on! I knew we couldn't trust you!" Daryl continued to yell in her face, Judie got the opportunity to finally get her knee up, kicking him in the gut.
He grunted and fell back. "I wasn't following ya, I was tryin' to get some damn food, ya nutjob." She stumbled back a little, feeling a small sharp pain in her torso.
