He sat in front of Min Ji at their favourite café, the hum of conversation and the freshly brewed coffee sent around the cafe embracing them. He listened to her as she talked about her day with a heart that sparkled with love as her laughter was a tune for the opening of his heart.
Because they were stealing glances and making promises between the lines, neither of them noticed the two shady figures lurking outside, staring at Taehyung with a chilling intensity.
Jungkook and Heejin were standing right across each other on the street; they kept staring at Taehyung as long as they could, focusing on him like carnivores. It did not reveal, however, the dark shadows covering over their mundane facades, drowning in insecurities growing from twisted desires and festering wounds that no one knew but only them.
With a silent nod, Jungkook and sun hee exchanged a knowing glance before disappearing into the crowd, their intentions veiled in secrecy as they plotted their next move.
Inside the cafe, Taehyung and Min Ji lingered over their cups, oblivious to the looming threat that hovered just beyond their reach.
