An adventure | Legolas x Reader

3.Council

I just woke up when i realised, that it was already 7:30am. Now i wasnˋt tired any more, because i was going to be too late for the meeting i had today. I quickly put on my favourite cothes and threw my cloak around since it was still a bit cool in the morning. Then i briefly brushed my hair and tied it up in a half braid.

When i arrived, everyone was sitting on his chair. There were only male participans: dwarfs, mans, Elfs and a little Hobbit with a Wizard next to him. I took the last seat next to Frodo and smiled a Hello to him. He did the same.

I looked around and saw Legolas sitting in a little distance away from me. Then there were some other people i knew: Aragorn and Elrond. 

I knew Aragorn because of Arwen and we were good friends. Elrond was Arwens father so i knew him as well. 

Then the meeting finally started my pointy ears were pricked up.

They talked about the Ring and all things, yeah you know. 

Then a brown-haired man began to speak and began tout the Ring as a weapon that he and his kingdom could put to good use. Aragorn contradicted him and finally Legolas stood up and said in an angry voice:,,This is no mere ranger. He is Aragorn, son of Arathorn. You owe him your Alliance!"

After a fies minutes the Situation escaladed somewhat. All participants except Frodo and i stood up and started arguring and shouting like little children. Finally i heard Frodo saying something and was kinda shocked. I had enough and stood up. I wanted to say something, because i found it unbelievable how grown men could be so childish. Plus Frodo had said something importent.

„Stop it! Stop it i said!! How can grown men can be so childish. I though you would take this more serious and donˋt think about nothing, only your advantige",when i said the last think i looked at Boromir. ,, Listen to this brave little Hobbit", i said and looked with a kind smile at Frodo, who shyly repeaded his words from before:,,I will take the ring. even if I don't know the way..."

Gandalf smiled at him with a sad expression on his face, then he walked up to him and placed a hand on his shoulder. ,,I will help you carry this burden for as long as it may be imposed on you"He said gently.

,,You have my sword" Aragorn said as he walked next to Frodo and bowed.

,,And you have my bow"Legolas added. ,,And my axe" Gimli, the dwarf said.

I walked up to Frodo and said to him:,,I will protect you with all i have, little Hobbit." Then i stand next to Legolas and he looked at me with an slightly shocked face expression, that said:it is a little bit dangerous, you know? Better you stay here. (while this is happening Boromir joined)

I didnˋt looked him, i just wispered in his direction:,,Just because I'm a woman doesn't mean I'm not just as strong as a man. I want to change something for the good, that's why I'm coming on this journey.

Then his face lightened and he smiled and whispered back: "Whatever you say, my lady."
