Chapter 5

"Jimin..." Hobi said as soon as Jimin opened the door to his house.

Jimin hugged him tightly as soon as he saw him.

"Hobi! I miss you so much." Jimin said.

"I miss you, too, Jimin." Hobi said returning the hug.

"Come inside. Yoongi is at work but he would also love to meet you." Jimin said as he guided Hobi towards his home.

"This is a nice place, Jimin." Hobi observed as he went inside.

"Thank you. Yoongi was the one who chose this place." Jimin said with a smile as he escorted Hobi to their living room. "I will get you soda and dessert."

"T-thank you."

After few minutes, Jimin came back with the bottle of soda and a piece of cake.

"How are you, Jimin?" Hobi asked.

"I am doing fine and well. How are you? I heard you resigned after I left." Jimin said in a sad tone.

"I did but I came back."

"That's good to hear. I am sorry that you had to leave before because of me." Jimin said sadly.

Hobi held his hands resting on his lap. "I did the right thing. I just had to go back because of Jin."

Jimin sighed upon hearing his brother's name.

"Is he aware about Jungkook?" Hobi asked.

Jimin looked at him with an expression that can't be identified by Hobi. He nodded slowly. "Hobi, please be with my brother whatever happens." Jimin said. "He needs someone more than ever."

"I will be." Hobi said, confused why Jin still stayed despite of knowing the past relationship of Jimin and Jungkook.

Jimin smiled at him.

"Jungkook can destroy your brother." Hobi said worriedly.

"He can but he won't." Jimin said which confused Hobi more.

"W-what?"

"Hobi, there are things that we won't be able to control in our lives. I know Jungkook will hurt Seokjin in any way he can but Seokjin can destroy Jungkook if that happens. Please promise me that you will be with my omega brother." Jimin said pleadingly.

"I will, Jimin." Hobi promised despite not understanding what was happening.

"Jin, the CEO wanted to meet you." Hobi said before the photoshoot. Today's Jin's photoshoot for his very first contract in the company and he was nervous how it became so fast. It was just 2 weeks and he feels like it's still not enough.

Jin sensed a sudden seriousness on Hobi's tone. He was a little bit bothered why the CEO, or Jeon Jungkook wanted to meet him for the first time.

"Should I go now or later?" Jin asked.

"You can go now before they put on your make up." Hobi said. "Meet him to his office."

Jin nodded and looked at himself in the mirror and checked how he looks.

"I will go now." Jin said to Hobi before exiting the dressing room.

Hobi sighed. "I hope Jungkook will change his mind." He said to himself.

Jin was anxiously waiting for the elevator door to open on the 99th floor.

He was fidgeting the hem of his shirt with his fingers looking at the numbers in the elevator.

When it finally dinged to the chosen floor, it took him a while to come out of the elevator. He breathe in as he walked towards the only room to the floor.

"Welcome, Mr. Kim." A beautiful lady welcomed him behind a tall desk, who Jin thinks might be in her early 40's and Jungkook's secretary.

The woman walked around and stood beside him. Jin is not able to smell her scent and she seemed to be a taken beta based on her mark. "Mr. Jeon is waiting for you inside. Please follow me." She said as she walked sophisticatedly in high heels towards the big door.

The lady signalled him to come inside, which he did.

He immediately smelled the very first scent of an Alpha he encountered in the building before. He can't help but be more anxious upon smelling it. His thoughts were distracted when the door of the room was closed by the lady.

He looked behind and then stared in front, seeing Jeon Jungkook for the very first time staring intently at him.

He realized that he is being rude so he bowed right away.

"Stand straight." An intimidating voice said and he did as what was said.

"Good morning, Mr. Jeon." He said with a smile as he stared at the Alpha in front of him.

He tried his best to control his omega inside upon smelling an Alpha's scent which he usually avoided. It's just that Jungkook's smell is very masculine for his omega, unlike when he met Namjoon.

This room is so full of Jungkook's scent, as if he wanted Jin to really smell him.

"Are you okay, Mr. Kim?" Jungkook smirked, noticing the sudden uneasiness from Jin's reaction.

"Y-yes, Mr. Jeon." He said, controlling himself.

"Good. By the way, I heard that today is your photoshoot. I am expecting a lot from it. I hope you will make us proud." Jungkook said.

"T-thank you, Mr. Jeon, I will do my best in today's photoshoot." Jin said bowing at him again.

When he was about to stand straight again, he was surprised to see Jungkook getting near him as his smell is getting harder for his omega to tolerate.

His eyes widened but tried to gulp and control himself.

"I am not expecting anything less from a Kim." Jungkook said as he reached out to Jin's face to slightly touch it and the back of his fingers, feeling the softness of his face on his own skin and tucking some pieces of his hair at the back of Jin's ear.

Jungkook gulped again as he looked at Jungkook who was so near him.

"Let's meet again after your week's photoshoot." Jungkook said to him in a whisper as his face got near Jin's.

Jin had been more anxious upon feeling Jungkook near him.

When he feels the alpha's breath near his lips, he closed his eyes.

Upon seeing Jin's reaction, Jungkook smirked.

"I will see you after your photoshoot, Mr. Kim." Jungkook said and immediately moved away from Jin.

When Jin heard that, he opened his eyes and was totally embarrassed expecting more from Jungkook.

"You can go, Mr. Kim." Jungkook said as he sat on his office chair again.

"Y-yes, Mr. Jeon." He said and immediately walked towards the door and almost ran towards the elevator out of embarassment. He did not even noticed the lady earlier who looked at him worriedly and was calling him.

He rode the elevator as soon as it opened and with deep breathings, he held his chest tightly.

"Fuck." He said to himself.

He wiped the sweat from his forehead as he tried to forget the scent of cedarwood mixed with a very refreshing smell of rain from his mind.
