Chapter 44

Short update... a little bit dizzy right now.

Jungkook was about to tell Jin that the wind outside in the pool area is cold when he heard the man talking to someone. Realizing that he is busy, he decided to leave Jin for now. He did not mean to pry but when he heard his name, he stopped in his tracks.

"Jungkook is very much helpful." Jin said over the phone. "He is taking care of me very well." Jin said with a smile.

Jungkook liked how the omega talks about him.

"I think I am very safe with him. Thank you for talking to him, Taehyung." Jin said.

Jungkook then realized who he was talking to and how the knowledge of him knowing that Taehyung talked to him somehow brought pain to him. He was about to leave, but the next words that came out from Jin's mouth hurt him a lot.

"I miss you, too, a lot." Jin said.

Jungkook decided that that's enough of pain. Anyway, he agreed to help Jin for his heat and not to be treated as a partner. That was Taehyung's place anyway.

He left and decided to stay in his room for the rest of the night.

"I am happy that you found him." Jin said to Taehyung.

"I am, too. It was a long time and I did not know if he'll be able to honor our deal, considering I left him multiple times, and I was so sure about our relationship before." Taehyung said.

"Tell me more about it once we see each other."

"I will. I am planning on extending my stay here as we build our relationship, but I hope you can also visit us after your heat?" Taehyung asked.

"I hope so, too, Tae. However, right now, I would like to also start building my relationship with Jungkook. He is really trying his best for me and Moon, and I admire him for that. I would like to get to know him more and probably spend some more time with him and Moon. I will tell you when I am ready to go there, it will be fun to probably have him and Moon there, too." Jin said.

"I like that plan. I hope I was able to mark my mate by then." Taehyung answered. "Kiss Moon for me and tell him Uncle Taehyung misses him so much."

"I will do that." Jin said. "Take care there, Taehyung. Again, I am happy about everything that is happening to you. I hope you will enjoy more your stay there. I can't wait to meet your beta."

"Me, too. I will wait for you here, Jin." Taehyung said before they ended the call.

Jin realized that Jungkook's no longer in the living room, where he left the alpha earlier as he checked. Jungkook must have been sleepy and thought that Jin will not sleep yet. He decided to say his good night to Jungkook before going to bed so he went to the alpha's room first before going straight to his room.

He knocked first but the alpha was quiet inside. He decided to knock again but the man was still not responding. He decided to take a peak at the room but as he slowly opened the door, the whole room is dark. He find the smell very disturbing, because he can clearly smell Jungkook's sad alpha.

"Jungkook?" He asked.

The alpha wanted to hide but what's the sense when his pheromones is all over the place?

"Are you okay?" Jin asked as he continued walking towards the alpha's bed.

"I am." Jungkook answered.

"Is there anything bothering you?" Jin asked with full concern.

Jungkook did not answer so Jin decided to walk closer to the alpha's bed.

"Do you need anything?" Jin asked again.

Jungkook wanted to say "You" but decided to just be quiet.

"Can I join you in your bed?" Jin asked.

Instead of answering, Jungkook just gave him space. Jin's intention is just to comfort the alpha with whatever he is feeling. He usually does that when they were still doing those nights. He hopes it would work now.

Jin positioned himself to lay down beside Jungkook.

The space is actually awkward. They were just both staring at the ceiling with enough space in between that separates them.

"It's cold." Jin said. "Would you like me to turn off the air condition?" Jin asked.

Suddenly, Jungkook covered him with the blanket that he was using.

"T-thank you." Jin said.

"Can I hug you?" Jungkook asked.

Jin nodded in the dark, but Jungkook clearly saw the response.

Jungkook slowly moved closer as he hugged Jin under the blanket and tried smelling him through his scent gland.

Jin did not move at all, but he closed his eyes as he felt comfortable with Jungkook's touch. He also smelled Jungkook's scent slowly calming down.

"Can I stay like this for now?" Jungkook asked.

Jin nodded at him again. "S-sure." He said.

"I like your smell a lot, Jin." He said as he nestled himself more on his neck. He is sure that Jin's heat will be coming really soon, because of the warmth of his skin and his smell is also getting stronger. When they got home earlier, he was sure that the omega's scent was stronger than the previous days. Even now, it was dizzying already but he likes it.

Jin started holding the hand that was hugging his waist and made himself comfortable as he let the touch of the man engulfed his body.

Jungkook heard light snores from Jin, and he is sure that the man is already asleep.

"I am sorry for all my mistakes, Jin. I wish you are always mine. I wish you are just mine." He said as he pushed himself closer to the man. He let the tears drop from his eyes.

Unknown to him that Jin woke up due to sudden wetness touching his exposed neck. Instead of saying anything, Jin acted asleep as he moved slightly to also hug Jungkook.

Jungkook was surprised but did not stop Jin's movements. He likes it everytime the omega clings to him. He decided to let the touch comfort him as he closed his eyes and slowly drifted to his own dreamland, with the omega nearby him.
