Chapter 22

Team Jin or Team Jungkook?

Jimin hurriedly went to their door as he heard the doorbell non-stop. It was raining hard and he did not want to wake Yoongi. He wore his sleeping robe to cover himself and immediately went to the door.

His eyes widened upon seeing the person outside. "What are you doing here?" He said with an unexpressed emotion.

"I need you." Jungkook said with his whole body and his clothes all wet from the strong rain outside.

"This is my husband's house. A little respect will be appreciated." Jimin answered.

Jungkook shook his head as he thinks he was misunderstood. "I need you to tell me where Jin could be."

"What do you mean where Jin could be?" Jimin asked.

"I did him wrong." Jungkook said. "It's been days, Jimin. He n-never showed at work anymore. I a-am r-really sorry." Jungkook said as he suddenly broke down and kneeled in front of Jimin.

Jimin breathes in and tried to control his emotions. "You don't have the right to be here nor to look for Jin. You hurt my baby. I am happy wherever he is as long as he's far from you." Jimin said, unable to control his emotion.

"I---I need h-him."

"Your alpha needs him, not you. You'll survive." Jimin said as he tried to be strong seeing Jungkook break down. The man had been kind to him when they were together. When he learned about what happened, he did not know that Jungkook can do what he did. Hearing his brother cry his heart out, for the first time, also broke him in pieces.

"I also need him." Jungkook said.

"You hurt him. Do you expect him to come back? Is this the revenge that you have planned all along? My brother loved you, not just because you are his fated mate. He loved you because you are Jeon Jungkook. You must have been lucky to have your fated mate but you lost it all just because of your revenge." Jimin said not even stuttering. "I have trusted you, Jungkook. All along, I thought it will be Jin who will hurt you because I thought he is strong enough to face any pain you will bring to him. But he is so weak for you. He made himself vulnerable only for you. He gave in to his omega because of you." Jimin said unable to control his emotions as he suddenly cry.

"Please, Jimin..." Jungkook said crying his heart out, his face almost on the floor as he bowed to Jimin asking for Jin's whereabouts.

"What are you doing here?" A voice behind Jimin said.

Only then that Jimin noticed his alpha.

Yoongi has raged in his eyes. Jimin immediately went to him to calm him.

"He will be leaving. Right, Jungkook?" Jimin said.

"No, J-Jimin. I c-can't. I n-need Jin." Jungkook said as he looked at the two.

"How dare you talk about Jinnie!" Yoongi said as he advanced towards Jungkook and pulled him up through his collar. "You dared to hurt your fated omega and now you are looking for him like you are the victim in all of this? Whatever Jimin or me did to you should have stayed as a problem between us. You should not have hurt the innocent people.

You have a problem with me and Jimin, hurt us, not Jin. Jin never did anything wrong!" Yoongi said.

"Yoongi, please stop." Jimin said as he tried to pull away his husband.

Jungkook just looked at Yoongi with sad look in his eyes.

"I need my omega." Jungkook said crying.

"Now, he is your omega?" Yoongi said. "Go to hell." He said as he pushed Jungkook outside their door and closed it to his face.

"Yoongi, my husband." Jimin said as he hugged him tight.

Jungkook leaned on the door then knocked again, feeling all hopeless in finding Jin again as he cried on the other side.

"Your brother is safe without him." Yoongi said.

"What will happen if Jungkook rejects his omega?" Jimin asked worriedly.

"I am sure that Jin will survive. We need to visit him next week." Yoongi said as he hugged his husband tightly.

"Jinnie, are you feeling better?" His auntie asked as he gave him water.

"Yes, auntie. Thank you for the medicine. I will go to the doctor tomorrow." Jin said.

"The place you have bought is quite expensive. Are you sure that you still have enough money?" His uncle said who sat beside him on his bed.

"Yes, uncle. I remember me and Jimin growing up always wanting to have a place here in Daegu. When he married Yoongi, he would always tell me how beautiful the places they have visited here are. I always wanted to buy you something like what we imagined life would be for us. I still have enough money from the contracts I had before I came here. I guess we should be good until we build the farm here." Jin said smiling at his uncle and auntie who stayed with him when he said he wants to move to Daegu.

"Okay, Jinnie. Whatever you say. You know that me and your auntie will support you always, right?"

Jin nodded at them and smiled. He rests his head on his auntie as his uncle hugged them both. Jin and Jimin were like children to them.

Jin felt weak eversince he moved to Daegu, his omega is always sulking, and Jin felt it. He feels like his omega is looking for his alpha, but he cannot let it overrule his body. He is still human, and he needs to be ahead of it than his omega.

No matter what, he won't let Jungkook come back to him and hurt him the same way again. He always knew about Jungkook's revenge, but he never thought that after all the nights they have spent together, Jungkook and his alpha will still choose to hurt him. He thought he will change his mind and they'll probably live happily together; they are fated mates anyway. But he thought wrong. Being fated will not change his human heart. He will always be angry at Jimin and will do anything to hurt his brother, even if it means sacrificing his fated mate.

With that thought, he decided to stay far away from the Alpha. He will never ever meet him again and will never let him in his life again. He should have never let the Alpha inside his wall, and now he's the only one suffering.

"I want to start anew." Jin said to his aunt and uncle and both just nodded at him, even when they fear for Jin's health as he has a different smell on him since he arrived.
