[Third Person POV]
It was getting close to eleven in the night. Minyoung was trying to get the beds set up for the families, while Jaemin washed the containers and utensils that came along with them in the kitchen. The boy heard a couple of footsteps coming for the corridor and looked up to see who was there.
"Hey." Minyoung smiled, later noticing the large piles of washed containers in a pile. "Lemme help." She said and took out a medium sized napkin that was in her tote bag that she brought along. "It's fine, you've helped here a lot. Let me do my part." Jaemin said, coming around the kitchen counter and holding on the napkin and the washed container, then looking in her eyes.
Jaemin swore he felt his heart beat a hundred times faster just looking in Minyoung's eyes. He cleared his throat and apologised, then feeling a little weight on his hands. Minyoung handed him the container and napkin. She was just grateful that someone was physically here to help in the shelter.
"So, where do you hang out during school breaks? I barely see you around." Jaemin asked as he dried her containers and put them in piles of twelve. "I usually hang in the recording studio along with Haeun. We just do dumb shit like make lyrics that relate to our life and stuff." "Oh yeah, cool cool." He nodded and felt the awkward silence between them.
"How come I don't see you in my classes? We have chemistry, math, art, and gym together." Jaemin asked, wondering why he missed a pretty girl like her in school and in class.
"I always sit in the back along with Haeun..." "How does the teacher never pick on you?" "Cuz I hand in my work on time and have perfect grades, duh." Minyoung said, making it sound obvious that she's smarter than the boy.
"Bragging, much?" "Just shut up and put the containers in the bag dumbass."

Already midnight and the girl and Jaemin were tired. They walked their way to Minyoung's house that was next to a convenience and book store.
"Hey mom?" Minyoung called her mother, but she knew that she would probably be asleep or watching another American drama to keep up with the world's craze. "Sorry but I guess you'll need to sit on the couch for the time being until I get my mum and dad." Minyoung apologised and shyly smiled, feeling a little embarrassed. Jaemin told her it was fine and waited for her and her parents. He took his time to look around the living room and the kitchen from where he was sitting.
"Mum, dad. Meet Jaemin. He came over to the shelter to help me and brought the families some dessert to eat as well." Minyoung smiled proudly as she introduced her parents to the boy.
"Aw, well aren't you the sweetest thing? My name is Hyejin. You're free to call me by my name or Mrs. Lee if it makes you comfortable." Her mother smiled, watching Jaemin stand up and bow down respectfully, then later hugging her. "I'm Taejun. Call me Mr. Lee if you'd like." He smiled along and hugged the boy and Jaemin pulled out of the embrace and bowed down to her dad as well.
"Nice to meet you all. Minyoung told me a lot about you on our walk here. And it was mostly about your cooking Mr and Mrs. Lee. Minyoung tells me that she receives a lot of compliments from the families at the shelter telling her that the food is very pleasant. I'd love the chance to eat your homemade food." Jaemin said, looking at the two parents and Minyoung back and forth.
"Aw, okay." Hyejin smiled and playfully hit her daughter who winced and glared at her mum. "Minyoung, how come have you just introduced us to your friend? He seems very nice and polite." Her mother asked. "Well, I just met him today at school for the first time." Minyoung explained. Her parents still don't know that she spends her time in the recording studio. They just think she's a regular teenage girl who is surrounded by friends and with a large social life.
