I watched the rain drops trickle down my window, as I kept betting on the wrong drops to win the race.

My life was a lie, slow and steady does not seem to win no crap.

It had happened thirty five times, I counted and I-my raindrops team-failed to bring myself victory.

I tried a few other things like downloading and playing a megatrazillion games on my phone and laptop but the computer always cheated and defeated me.

They are such a scam.

Their default settings only allow the bots to win and I am no bot.

Otherwise a pro player like me could never taste defeat.

Huffing, I laid back and stared at the ceiling.

Shall I just go back to London?

To visit my parents for a few months?

I'm sure they would let me crash there for a miniscule amount of time.

I am so bored now that I am an unemployed breathing chromosome.

Arghh, God darn, the Devil Boss.

He got to look at my almost exposed goodies. For free. Now that was embarrassing to put it mildly. I was half grateful that I won't have to face him again.

But everytime I look at the chocolate box, he gave me. I'm reminded of the horrifying, mortifying and soul shaking incident.

That was a great deal to me because I'm not comfortable in revealing my delectable skin to just anyone.

And he was just anyone.

Huh, pervert.

But oh it is even more stressing to break the news to my fam back home.

It's been two days since I left the organization I worked for but haven't had the guts to tell my parents.

They'd think it was my fault.

But Hannah didn't.

Hannah had already written her resignation letter and was so ready to quit, silly girl, that I had to tear it up and slap some senses into her.

This ain't Hollywood.

Anyway, I applied for a few more companies, even a bakery.

And got responded positively from the sweet shop.

I mean duh, I'm like a cupcake myself.

Wait till they find out how amazing of a baker I am- to be.

Just yesterday after their reply, I got some ingredients from the mart for a brownie mix to practice and it turned out to be really amazing.
