Chapter 8: Better Than Expected

Carson's POV
Today is the the day. The dreaded day these fools I call my brother meet my 'other family' as I like to call them.

They only wanted to meet Hunter but I figured having Jake and Casian here wouldn't hurt.

"CARSON THEY ARE HERE"
"I'M COMING."

Oh boy here we go.

I walked downstairs, I was wearing a simple white dress from Forever 21 and my black vans, my hair was in a messy bun and the only make up I am wearing is mascara and pink lip gloss.

I saw the guys standing my the door and they look nervous.

Hunter is wearing a black jeans, and a white polo shirt, surprisingly the same shade as my dress. Lol. He is also wearing a black beanie and his lip ring is in.

Casian is wearing red skinny jeans and a black button down shirt. He is also wearing a red bow tie and has on a black and red UGA SnapBack.

Jake is wearing khaki shorts and a blue polo shirt and his hair is up in a quiff.

"Ok guys listen I need y'all to make a good impression on them alright?"
"Carson don't worry ok? who do you think we are Casian?"
*Smack*
Geez Casian just slapped Jake and they look like there about to fight.

I think Hunter noticed how stressed I looked so he broke them up and told them both to shut the hell up and behave.

We got in the dining room and I sat in between Hunter and Alec, Jake and Casian sat across from us. Next to Casian is Simon then Sebastian and Ryder are at the head of the tables.

Thank the Lord they didn't invite their sluts... whoops I meant girlfriends my bad.

So anyway we sat down in uncomfortable silence and started eating, I made chicken Alfredo. Yeah yeah I know I can cook?!? Yup sure can I had to be able to feed myself somehow right?

No one was talking and it was super awkward. Then Casian, bless him struck up a conversation somehow with Simon about football. They started laughing and now they are pointing at me wait what?

"...And then it was really funny right so it was there first date this was last year so we were all 13 and he took her to a UGA game."

Oh I know exactly what this is and if it gets to the end Sebastian and Ryder and gonna be pissed.

"...And then the kiss cam thing came on, so first date it was kinda awkward and they ended up kissing after a lot of peer pressure. So that in itself was funny. Anyway the next day Jake and I found them on the couch at his house watching some movie."

"Oh I remember that" Jake said, " They were watching The Notebook and he told me it's not as girly as it sounds."

"I'm sorry," Sebastion said," who are we talking about?

Oh no.

"Hunter and Carson's first date."

At that moment all eyes were on the two of us and you could here a pin drop. Because let's face it once my brothers found out it was me in the story the only thing they got out of it was on my first date I kissed a boy and a slept over at his house.

I could see the gears churning in Sebastian's head. That's never really a good sign, but then he started talking.

"Ok. Anything else?"

Wait....what?!?

"Yeah then that same day we started a prank war and let's just say the furniture ended up on the roof.."

Wow that turned out better than expected. The dinner went smoothly surprisingly and the guys went home un beat up so yeah pretty successful.

I walked into the dining room to help clean up then afterwards my brothers and I started to watch a movie on the couch.

I fell asleep against Simon's shoulder as the opening credits to 21 Jump Street started playing.
