Chapter 5: Prank War

Wait what?

"You baptized your phone?"

"Um yeah it decided to not be a Christian anymore and was sending dirty texts so I baptized it.

"That is probably the stupidest thing you've said in our entire relationship."

"Hm you're just jealous you aren't as creative as I am.

Wow just wow. I turned around to see Jake and Casian in a thumb war, but knowing them it's gonna turn into a wrestling match soon.

Boy I am in for a loooong day.

Carson's POV

Ugh sooo bored. Sitting in a closet is so not fun. Now you are probably wondering what I'm talking about right? Let's rewind to four hours ago.

Four Hours Ago

"What should we do now?"
Jake is wondering what we should do and I have the perfect idea. A smirk comes to my face and I see Casian giving me a smirk back, there is an evil glint in his eye so I know he is on board.

"PRANK WAR"

Jake and Hunter groan. I guess there thinking of the last time we had a prank war when all their furniture ended up on roof. Man that was so epic.

"Ok guys the teams are Casian and I and Jake and Hunter. Okay? Now GO."
Casian and I headed to the kitchen while Jake and Hunter headed to the living room.
Then we started brain storming.

"Ok Carson what's the game plan this time?"

Honestly I have no idea. Thinking back to all are other prank wars, I realized what we had to do.

"Casian I think it's time for Operation: Tie Down."
"Carson that's crazy! It's so insane that... that it might just work!"
Let's explain shall we? Operation: Tie down is where we attack Jake and Hunter from behind and tie them to chairs. Then, Casian and I are free to watch The Vampire Diaries. Jake and Hunter absolutely hate that show.

"Ok Casian we are going to need to chairs, duct tape, rope, candy, and soda"
"You got it."
"Be careful though they might attack at any moment, I'll keep watch while you get the stuff."
"Alright"

After he ran upstairs to get the stuff I started to spy on the boys. I heard them talking, I quickly realized they were planning to do the same plan we were! Except they were planning on making us watch Breaking Bad. Ugh. (*I have nothing against Breaking Bad, it's just her character)

I heard Casian come down the stairs and told him we have to act fast.

I went behind Hunter and Casian went behind Jake, and let's just say after a series of events, we won.

Seven episodes of The Vampire Diaries later we heard a commotion and realized they were about to escape. We made a brake for it upstairs.

That's how I ended up hiding in a closet for an hour.

Oh no I think I hear Hunter coming.

"Carson? Come on babe it's been an hour we aren't mad anymore. We just want to go to the skate park maybe catch a movie."
"Can we see Into the Woods?"
"Yes we can see Into the Woods"

I came out from the closet.

"Then what are we waiting for let's go!"

I dragged him downstairs and noticed it was nine o clock, but I didn't care because we were going to see Into the Woods.

"That was a great movie but I think I have to go home now."
"Are you sure"
"yeah guys I'm sure, see y'all tomorrow."

I got home and noticed the lights were on. That's not a good sign. Man I was supposed to be home forty-five minutes ago. Why do I always mess things up. He finally gave me some freedom and I blew it. Not to mention they don't even know I have a boyfriend.

I opened the door and they were all staring at me.

"Um hi guys how's it going."
"Do you have any idea what time it is!"
"Yeah its 10:45, what's your point?"

I could see Sebastian was getting aggravated, Ryder was looking eerily calm, Alec and Simon looked indifferent.

"Carson why were you late?"
"Well Ryder we were at the movies, it was no big deal"
"You could of at least called."
"I could of, but it's not really any of your business, I'm home and I'm safe that's all that matters."
"Carson that's not all that matters and you know it! We only asked for you to be home by 10 that's not unreasonable is it?"
"Look we were at the movies and lost track of time, ok? I'm sorry."
"You're grounded"

Yeah that's not happening I don't get grounded I do what I want. When are they going to realize I'm not the little girl they left four years ago. That girl did whatever they asked and was a total pushover. I'm just not that girl any more.

"Look its really cute that you guys think you can control me and what not, but I'm not really amused, so if you'll excuse me I have to get ready for tomorrow, my friends and I are going out early in the morning. Later."

I hurried upstairs so they couldn't say anything. Guess I'll see what they have to say about what I have to say tomorrow.
