2 days until Simon returns
——————————-

You wake in your kitchen, realizing only now that you were tied fast to a chair. You tense and struggle to free yourself, but the ties hold firm, refusing to budge.

You panic as your mind races, the memories of what happened coming back to you.

Konig sits across from you, his arms crossed as he watches you with that cruel smile again. "Good, you're awake," he says with that eerie calmness in his voice.

Your eyes find him quickly "What do you want from me?" You ask stiffly, body tense in your chair.

"What do I want?" Konig says with an amused chuckle. His gaze studies you from head to toe, lingering on your bound hands.

"You know what I want," he replies. His tone is teasing, yet sinister.

He leans forward, his chin resting on the palm of his hand. "We had so much fun last time... I simply want a repeat performance."

You narrow your eyes at him, straining against your bindings. "You wont survive if you do this, not again. Simon will have your head you bastard!" You yell in an attempt to get him to leave you alone

Konig chuckled darkly as you threaten him.

"Oh, you think he could stop me?" He grins, his eyes narrowing in challenge. "He may be tough, but he's no match for me, little one."

He takes a step closer, his towering frame looming over you. "You seem to have a lot of faith in him... but let me remind you he's not here right now."

You could feel your skin prickle at how close he was. "You cant do this.. not again.." You almost whisper out, unable to tear your eyes away from his. The way they bored into you from behind his mask. It was unsettling.

Konig takes another step closer, his body almost touching yours. He leans down, his breath warm against your ear, his voice a low whisper.

"Oh, I can do this... and I will."

His hand reaches out, brushing a strand of hair from your face, his touch leaving a trail of goose bumps on your skin.

"And Simon won't be able to stop me this time... he's not here to rescue you again."

One day later

Simon pulls up to the house, late evening, seeing your car in the drive with a smirk. He'd been released early, and wanted to surprise you.

He takes his time pulling his duffle from the backseat, walking up to the front door. Fishing for his house key.

Simon strolls up to the front door, duffle bag in hand and a smile on his face. He fumbles for his house key in his pocket as he approaches, eager to surprise you with his unexpected early return home.

As he glances at your car in the drive, he grins, imagining how you'll react.

When he puts the key in the dead bolt and turns it, it makes no sound. Which meant it was already unlocked.. you never left the front door unlocked..

Simon takes note of this anomaly. You never left the front door unlocked, and yet it was now.

His instincts kick in immediately, his expression hardening as he mentally scans through all the possible reasons for the unlocked door. He grips the handle a bit tighter before slowly opening the door.

The house was silent. The only noise being the sound of the front door creaking loudly open. The front entryway looked fine.. the rest of the house was dark. As if all the curtains were pulled shut.
