After Jace and Cassie left Cas' parent's house, they went back to jace's house and finally finished unpacking everything. "Cas, i'm going to have some friends over, is that okay?" Jace asked as he was smoking a blunt. "Yeah that's okay." Cassie said after hitting her cart. She felt free when she was high. Jace's friends arrived shortly after. As Cassie went downstairs to grab Tofu and Jimmy to take them to the groomers, she heard a voice from behind her. "Damn girl, i'd like to take you home with me tonight.." One of Jace's friends said while smacking her ass. Cassie quickly turned around and smacked the absolute shit out of his face. "WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU?!" She said. Jace and his other friends came round the corner. "What the fuck happened?" Jace asked. "Your drunk ass friend smacked my ass!" Cassie said. "Chilllll baby i'm drunkkh." The guy said while slurring his words. "I don't give a fuck if you were sober or not, DONT TOUCH MY ASS." Cassie said while going upstairs and slamming her door. The sound of yelling and breaking glass gave extreme PTSD to Cassie, she hated it, her dad was an alcoholic in her early childhood to her mid teens until her little sister was born, then he decided to sober up. It still gives her traumatic memories whenever she heard something breaking or yelling. Jace knocked on her door, "Cas, can I come in?" He asked in a low tone. "Sure." Cassie said. When Jace opened the door, he saw her crying on the bed. He looked into her glossy red eyes, "What's wrong ma?" He asked. Cassie looked into Jace's dark green and captivating eyes, unable to get her words out. His voice was just so intoxicating and she couldn't get enough of his everything. "All the crashing and banging just brought back unpleasant memories of my father being a drunk and angry mess, that's all." She said with tears still rolling down her cheek while looking at him and feeling the tears stream down her face. "I'm so sorry cass, I didn't know that happened to you. But, Jacob's out of this house, I called the cops on him because he broke my fucking table." He said while petting Tofu and Jimmy. "Thank you, Jace." Cas said. "Of course, pretty girl." He said as he was leaving her room. Cassie always had feelings for Jace, and he probably had some for her too. She fell asleep shortly after Jace left her room.
