मयखाने की रौनक़ में, शराब का रंग जमता है, प्याले में लब छूते ही, मदहोशी का गीत गाता है।
माणिक का तल, रूबी का नूर लिए, शराब का हर क़तरा, दिल को बहलाता है।
कभी सुनहरे झाग, कभी लहरता है धुआँ, हर रंग में मद, हर रंग में नशा है।
एक शमा जलाती है, सीने में ख़्वाबों की, शराब का ये जादू, ख़ुद को भुलाता है।
नाज़ुक सी खुशबू, मदहोश करती है, हर घूंट में ज़िंदगी, फिर से जगाता है।
प्याले छनकते हैं, महफ़िल में ग़मां खो जाती है, शराब का ये नशा, ज़िंदगी बदल जाता है।
