(If this is the first time reading one of my stories with the 'Truth or Dare' card game, just a reminder that each pair is dealt an actual hand of five cards and the 'other' cards for each play are pulled randomly as well. This keeps it as realistic as possible, as though they are actually playing, and I write it accordingly.)

Bae continued, "Let me briefly explain the rules of the game, then we'll move to the carpet. We are going to play in partners..."

Yooa interrupted, "Oh good, so our partner can protect us from doing or saying anything dumb."

Bae said with a giggle, "No, probably not. This is the 'Truth or Dare' card game. Each pair will get a hand of five cards. There are four rounds, so one card in your hand will not be used. Each card has a 'truth' and a 'dare' on it. The person whose turn it is picks a card to play, and picks who to play it on. The person being played on chooses 'truth' or 'dare' and does the resulting task. Each task has a point value. If the person doing the task successfully completes it, they get the points. The pair with the most points at the end of the game win. The points are what make this variant of 'truth or dare' more fun, it isn't easy to pick on one group, because they will certainly win."

Hyeju asked, "What does the winner get?"

Dayeon said, "Yes, clearly we aren't going to make fools of ourselves if the prize isn't good."

Bae said, "There you go doubting me again..."

Dayeon shrugged.

"Would you say a seven-course tasting menu dinner for two at the nicest restaurant in Seoul would be work playing for?" asked Bae.

Hyeju said, "Really?"

"These reservations are impossible to get. Here is the proof." Bae proudly displayed the gift card.

Sullyoon grabbed it out of Bae's hands. "HOW DID YOU GET THIS?"

Bae said, "I know people."

Sullyoon said, "You literally don't know anyone..."

Bae grabbed the card from her and passed it around the table.

Jiwoo smiled, "She's just upset because she doesn't get to play for it."

"I WASN'T INVITED!" said Sullyoon uncharacteristically loudly.

Bae said, "Sit tight, you might change your mind about that in a bit."

Hyeju looked it over. "This worth playing for. You all are going down."

Sohyun said, "Over my dead body."

Belle said, "Over Sohyun's dead body!"

Sohyun winked at Belle.

Yooa said, "They have OLD wine!"

Bae said, "I believe it is called 'aged' wine, but yes, wine INCLUDED with dinner."

Yooa said, "DEAR LORD, THAT IS MINE."

Natty said, "No comment from Dayeon?"

Xiaoting said, "Forget Dayeon, Tingting is winning that!"

Bae said, "Good, now back to the rules."

Sullyoon said, "No really... how did you get it?"

Bae shook her finger in front of Sullyoon's nose, "I'll never tell."

"So, the bit about the pairs! We will all be playing as partners. During each round, one partner will be 'card handler' and one partner will be 'task handler'. So round one, I'll be card handler and Jiwoo will be task handler. That means I make all decisions regarding cards, and she does all tasks. Then in round two we switch, so each partner gets two turns doing each."
