Chapter 9: Belle Gets Picked a Lot!

Bae, Jiwoo, and Sullyoon were still mostly dressed, so Bae took up a spot in the bathroom, Sullyoon in the hallway, and Jiwoo at the party room door. The traffic in the lobby of the JYP building had decreased quite a bit, nonetheless, the Nmixx girls made sure the coast was clear and funneled girls back and forth to the bathroom.

Dayeon said to Jiwoo, "It would have been easier to let people put their clothes back on, this is a bit ridiculous."

Jiwoo said, "Clearly I don't make the rules around here, but everything she has done this far has been for a reason, so..." She shrugged.

Xiaoting was listening. "See how loyal the JYP girls are to each other. It would be nice to have groupmates like that..."

Dayeon said, "Don't let this one fool you, we love each other plenty. And also pick on each other, because what the heck else are we going to do after being together for so long."

Jiwoo said, "I know. I also sense you like to run things rather than follow a leader you don't really know."

Dayeon said, "Yeah, that's me... I'm not really a jerk."

Natty came up behind Dayeon and put her hands over Dayeon's eyes.

"Hey jerk... guess who?" said Natty.

Dayeon said, "I'm going to turn around and stare at your chest right now. Jerk or not!"

Natty let go of Dayeon's face and ran off to the kitchen.

After Dayeon and Xiaoting left Jiwoo manning the party room door, Hyeju walked up to her.

Jiwoo looked at her expectantly. "Got something on your mind?"

Hyeju said, "Yup".

"Are you going to tell me what it is?" asked Jiwoo.

"Nope..."

Jiwoo gave her Pupperwoo eyes.

"If me and Sohyun were about to be struck by lightning, but you could only save one of us. Who would you pick?"

Jiwoo looked around.

Jiwoo said, "When YOU ask me that question, I'll say you; if Sohyun asks me that question, I would say Sohyun."

Hyeju said, "Okay, I'm doing slightly better than I expected."

Jiwoo said, "Can no one at this party flirt without sticking a pretzel stick down someone's throat?"

Hyeju said, "I'm not flirting, I just like to see how things work."

"What things?"

Sohyun spied Hyeju with Jiwoo and walked over herself. Sohyun put her arm around Jiwoo's shoulders, likely just to irritate Hyeju.

Jiwoo almost cringed, but did her best not to.

Sohyun asked, "Is this woman bothering you My-jjyu?"

Sullyoon was also watching from down the hallway. She saw Jiwoo a bit distressed and ran to her. "Everything okay Jiwoo?"

Jiwoo squeaked. "Help. I've never been surrounded by so much... energy..."

Sullyoon said, "Let's not be scaring the puppies."

Sohyun looked at Sullyoon, then back at Jiwoo. She made her decision and grabbed Sullyoon's wrist and pulled her to a couch.

Hyeju continued with Jiwoo. "Nice of Yoona to help me out like that..."
