Lucy left LA not long after her break up with Tim 5 years ago not long after she found out that she was pregnant she had tried to call Tim and text and send letters but she never heard back she was on her own but now she's back in LA she moved back after she was offered a position as detective in Mid-Wilshire she knew it meant seeing him again her problem now was whether or not to tell him it was her first day back when she walked in she was nervous it all looked so different now everything was moved like it was a whole new station

He also has been suspended 2 times once because he got into a accident hitting a civilian car and the second time because he punched another cop

Angela helps her set up and they spend the day going over her cases and catching up then go to Lunch at lunch is where they run into all the patrol officers including Tim Tim doesn't see her until everybody gets up and hugs her once everybody leaves her he stands up and walks over to her.
Tim:i heard you were back but i didn't think it was true
Lucy:yeah its really good to see you

Lucy:we actually need to talk
