Clay and some of the Sons sat in the booth behind and in front of Darby and his goon. The hot California sun beating down on the windows, creating an orange yellow light that danced amongst everyone in the diner.

Clay pushed the small dark wooden box towards Darby, handing it to him.

"A little "Get well" present for your guy, Darby."Clay said, trying to be nice.

Darby opened the box to reveal a white gun,
"That's some serious iron. Izzy'll like that. Thank you." Darby replied.

"Figured we'd give him something that had some balls." Jax snarkly said, looking at Darby with a deadly look in his eye.

"I know what it's like running a crew. Sometimes your guys do shit without thinking things through." Clay said, ignoring Jax's comment.

"My guys are thinking just fine." Darby said.

"They thinking fine when they sell crank to my pregnant ex?" Jax said, still pissed at the fact that Darby's guys sold crank to Wendy, his ex-wife.

"That was unfortunate. How's your little family doin' anyway?" Darby replied, egging Jax on.

Jax took a few seconds before he reached over the booth table aggressively knocking over the drinks as a result of trying to get a hold of Darby. Instead his goon got a hold of Jax's arms holding him off of Darby that did nothing to get Jax off of him. Tig wrapped his arms around the guy, holding him back from the blonde haired man.

"All right, all right. Everybody contain your shit." Clay said grabing a hold of Jax, forcing him to sit down.

"Get off me!" The man Tig was holding down said. Tig finally released him, the man sat down.

Clay turned to Jax, "You done?"

"Yeah." Jax replied.

"Sorry folks. Go back to your corn dogs. Won't happen again." Clay said, looking at everybody who had their attention turned on the big bad bikers now, reassuring them that everything's fine.

"I made sure that the brotherhood had Opie's back every minute that he was in Chino, and you know that." Darby suddenly said.

"Oh, I know how it works inside, Darby. Question is, you remember how it works outside?" Clay said.

"A lot changes in three years." The man next to Darby said.

"A lot stays the same." Clay said in a matter-of-fact tone.
Clay leanded forward to Darby before saying, "Nothing happens in Charming we don't control, or get a peice of."

"If we wanted a meth trade, we'd have one." Bobby said, cutting into the conversation.

"We don't." Jax said, shaking his head.

"You know the drill. I mean, you can cook all the crank you want along the border. But you do not deal in Charming." Clay said sternly.
