Marionette did not give Mangle, Toy Bonnie, Toy Chica & Toy Freddy life. They were set to kill to whoever walked in the place by Vincent / Purple Guy. They were just animatronics with no emotions or anything. They just sat there and play with the kids & by night they kill the night guard.
Me: How do I feel about this theory? Unfortunately, I feel that it's incorrect. The thing is, we do have emotions. I, and the other animatronics like children and like playing with them. At night I usually have conversations with the night guards. Yes, I have accidentally caused a death or two. But that was only because I have gotten a bit too exited to make new friends and caused them to have a heart attack. That's all. So see, we're not just emotionless creatures set to kill people.
