"Hm, JUMP is getting a bit boring nowadays....." Gintoki sighs, "What is it? What's happening in the world?"
"G-Gin-san!" Shinpachi warningly says, smacking Gintoki's shoulder. "The first chapter is starting! Don't let the readers see you slacking right off the bat!"
"Huh, again?" Gintoki sighs, dropping the JUMP and picking his ear with his pinky. "Won't Bisha give it a rest? We're gonna go on for 3 Books? Is this for real, I mean like really real?"
Gintoki shifts positions on the couch and yawns lazily, "I mean....Is Bisha still the one writing?"
"...What do you mean, Gin-san?" Shinpachi asks, but then gasps in realization. "Are you suggesting-"
"I mean, come on, admit it." Gintoki raises a hand, "Her writing's changed, she doesn't update so often- Why don't we let her retire? She's not getting any younger, let's just go find another author who has time-"
"Gin-san!! If Bisha-chan hears you, you're dead! She worked hard to make this Book 3 and you're being ungrateful like this!! She's been so loyal to this book and yet you want to betray her!"
"Gin-chan, tell them to request for me! I wanna make more appearances! I'm the cute heroine in the anime but in the fanfiction I'm only a supporting character!" Kagura yells, ripping open a pack of sukonbu.
"Kagura, don't be greedy. This book is for you know, the fantasies of readers and fans of the anime Gintama." Gintoki shrugs his shoulders, "Look at Shinpachi! He didn't get any requests in Book 2 but did he complain? No."
"You're right! How did I get 0 requests in Book 2?! This is absurd!"
"Don't sweat it, Shinpachi. Just be thankful someone requested you in Book 1."
"A-Anyways! Gin-san, Bisha-chan says we need to hurry up and start this because she worked hard to prepare for the very first chapter of Book 3!"
"Alright," Gintoki clears his throat, "Bisha-chan's Gintama Oneshots Book Trilogy, Book 3- Is now starting!!"
------------
"I'll take these ones please!" (Y/N) smiles as she points to a delicately-crafted bouquet. The florist heads over and takes it in hand to wrap it up.
"My, this is a great one. You have a great eye young lady," She smiles, then spots a glint on (Y/N)'s finger and she giggles. "Your husband is a lucky man!"
(Y/N) looks down on her ring finger and smiles when her ring catches her eye, she chuckles and turns to the florist as she hands the payment. "I'd say I'm the lucky one."
"Here you go! Have a nice day!!"
As (Y/N) begins walking, she smiles fondly at the sight of the flowers- Too focused on them, she failed to see the truck heading straight for her.
"Huh?-"
"KYAAAAAAAA!"
All it took was a second.
A second when the delicately-arranged fowers went flying from her hands to a scattered mess on the ground.
A second when her body hit the ground, turning numb as her eyes flutter shut. The last thing she saw- the ring glinting against the morning's harsh light.
-and that beautiful silver ring dyed in the color of red.
"KYAAAA!" The woman's ear-piercing shriek sounds loudly in the crowded street. The truck passes by and the woman hurriedly squats down to (Y/N)'s lying figure on the sidewalk.
