He answered the call.
"What is your problem, Teja?",Sharan whisper-yelled.
"See mister elder brother, I am not fond of calling you and talking to you as if I am your girlfriend. I just wanted to inform you that the doctor in charge is calling for you. Come fast",Teja said.
"I'll be there in a minute",Sharan said in a no-nonsense tone.
He got up from his seat and the duo followed him to the room.
"Oh here you are, her vitals seem stable as of the last twenty four hours. Just to be sure, we can discharge her the day after tomorrow extending her observation period for one more day",the doctor said.
"But why extend the observation, if her vitals are stable?",Sharan asked.
"Mr. Sharan, it was a drug overdose and we never know how and when it can react upto forty eight hours. Any problem with her staying here?",the doctor asked.
"No, nothing like that. Just wanted to confirm about her discharge",he said.
"Doctor, can I check her recent reports once?",Aaradhana asked and the doctor nods and hands over the report to her.
"Take care, Mridula and please inform the nurse if you feel anything! Get well soon",the doctor said to which Mridula just nodded and gave her a small smile.
"How are you feeling now akka?",Aaradhana asked settling down beside her bed.
"I'm fine, Aaru. How are amma and appa? Are they okay?",Mridula asked.
"They are fine, don't worry",Aaradhana said.
"Hi Krishna!",Mridula said in a faint tone while Sharan shot him a glare which didn't go unnoticed by Mridula.
"Hi Mridula! Why don't you rest? We'll be just here in the cafeteria. I actually need to talk about something with Sharan",Krishna said.
"Is everything okay?",she asked looking at Sharan and Krishna amidst these two there was her sister who was having a worried expression on her face as well. Now this was something fishy, she thought to herself.
