WARNING: LOOK OUT FOR VERY STRONG LANGUAGE.

Blakes P.O.V

After my conversation with Alessia, I found it hard sleeping. Thoughts of her soon-to-be-discovered answer came swirling in my mind. I actually have two reasons I brought her. Alessia was actually my classmate in high school. I didn't tell her because I didn't want to ruin my chances of getting a really skilled Mafioso. And also because it might come as a shock. She actually confessed her feelings for me in 10th grade, but I didn't like her back. I only liked her as a friend. I still don't like her anyway, though she's actually prettier than she was six years ago.

In 11th grade, I got transferred to another school. So, I'm hoping for a yes, so that we can at least make up for lost time. But still, if her answer is yes, she may face much more disastrous events in the future. Much worse than anything shes ever faced.

Alessia woke up the next morning to the sound of the alarm clock (beside her bed which she obviously didnt know where it came from) to see Jake sitting next to her, smiling like a weirdo.

"Ugh, you freaking asshole, you scared me!"

"Hey, mind the language, dumbass. Anyway, good morning. Have you made up your mind yet?" he asked hopefully.

Why was he so desperate? she wondered. "Well, I accept your offer."

"Okay, you are now a Serpentine. Congratulations! Anyway, my real names Zeke. Zeke Lucky."

"Whatever, but why do you look so familiar, like I know you from somewhere?" she asked, staring straight at him.

Zeke took in a deep breath and said: "Well, its about time I tell you. Do you remember Blake Lucky from your high school?"

"Yeah, what about him?"

"Well, I'm Blake Lucky a.k.a. your second BFF, the guy you had a crush on in 10th grade, Im him."

Alessia was shocked, but instead of ranting, she just leaned looked at his face and laughed. "I thought wed never see each other again, but just to make things clear, my feelings for you are over."

"Obviously, its been six years!"

"But Zeke, you have heterochromia, why were your eyes green at school?"

:I wore contact lenses, because you know, kids could laugh about it."

She laughed. "Bro, you were the hottest and most popular kid at school. No one would dare say a word about it, but I think its cool though."

"Really? he asked," a little taken aback.

"Yup."

Then, for some unknown reason, they kept staring at each other for a pretty long time, when Alessia finally realize what she was doing and snapped out of it. Back to business. "Anyway, sorry for shouting out you earlier."

"It's okay. It was actually my fault, bringing you here in the night by force. Anyway, I have a surprise for you.."
