(No ones POV)

It was a regular day like any other in Sector V. Numbuh 2 (Hoagie) was working on a new invention that exploded into slime, Numbuh 3 (Kuki) was having a tea party and was forcing Numbuh 4 (Wally) to do it with her. When strangely an alert came from the super computer. Everyone's heads turned to it, only to be presented with a notification that told how a message was sent to them "That's weird," Numbuh 2 thought out loud. "Who would be sending us a message today? There haven't been any villains butts we need to kick in a while" Numbuh 3 excitedly raised her hand and waved it, "Ooo, maybe Numbuh 5's calling to check in on us!" Numbuh 4 rolled his eyes, "Oh puh-lease, Numbuh 5's been too busy to call us with her being the new supreme leader and all that." Numbuh 2 raised an eyebrow, "Well then what else do you suggest?" Numbuh 4 scoffed, "Well I dunno! What do I look like? One of those mind readers?" Numbuh 3 looked at Numbuh 4 with a curious but excited smile on her face, "Ooo~ Are you?" Numbuh 4 facepalmed with an annoyed look on his face. Numbuh 2 smiled, "Well lets just not hope it's a skeleton. Y'know why?" The pair looked at him with raised eyebrows, as Numbuh 2 continued, "Cause they got no body to talk to!" Numbuh 2 laughed at his own joke, as Numbuh 4 groaned out loud while Kuki shook her head. Numbuh 2 frowned, "Aw c'mon guys, lighten up" Numbuh 4 rolled his eyes, "Just answer the message will ya?!" Numbuh 2 raised his hands up in surrender, "Alright, alright, jeez. No need to be so snappy about it" Numbuh 2 then pressed a button causing the message to be played:

On the screen a girl around 10 or so, with long blue hair and black sunglasses showed up. In the background it showed a sleek and clean control center, similar to other KND base control centers. Except out the large window, there was a large galaxy, filled with billions of stars and constellations. The girl was typing on the laptop before looking directly at the screen. She cleared her throat before she began to speak, parts of the message were glitched, but still legible to understand. "G-Greetings-s. This- the 124994th broad-ast t-to Earth, to any K-Kids Ne-ext Do-or bases."

The 3 all snap their heads to look at each other with shock upon hearing the mention of the Kids Next Door- who was this girl? Where was she? And how did she know about the Kids Next Door?

As if she heard them, the girl continued where she left off, as her message became clearer and clearer with less and less glitches "I am Numbuh -1, leader of Sector O" She straightened her sunglasses, as Numbuh 2 thought out loud, "Sector O?"

The girl- Numbuh -1, carried on, "Five years ago, me and my Sector were launched into space and have awaited rescue since. We have passed by Earth only once each year. Though the last 4 transmissions were never received, I have hope this one will."

Numbuh -1 smiled calmly, "My hope is supported because the Kids Next Door never leave each other behind. Though, my Sector and I have spent five years in space, we have remained strong as of far. And we will continue until we make it back to Earth safe and sound. I await of a possible return mission or a singular Kids Next Door operative to pick us up"

Numbuh -1's smile almost immediately faltered as it became a sad frown, "Please come get us. Me and my Sector all have faith in the KND helping us return to Earth safely. Please don't let us down again."

the corners of Numbuh -1's mouth curl into a somber smile, as she looked back at the camera, and spoke with a hint of sadness hidden in her voice "Numbuh 362, Numbuh 60, if you're hearing this, I never forgot you two. I miss you both so much, and I can't wait to see you two again someday."

Numbuh -1 saluted and a fresh smile formed on her face, "Kids Next Door Forever!"

The screen let out a beep as the transmission had ended; it had left the three Sector V members shocked beyond belief. Numbuh 2 managed to find his voice, "W-woah! Is that why there's no Sector O? They've been in space this whole time?" Numbuh 4, snapped out of it, "Wait, how did that Numbuh -1 girl know Numbuh 60 and Numbuh 362?" Numbuh 3 piped up, "Maybe the three of them used to be friends? It sounded like they were"

A silence lingered for a minute or two, before Hoagie spoke up, "We gotta help them right?" Numbuh 4 scoffed, "Of course we do! That's what the KND's for! Like that Numbuh -1 lady said, the Kids Next Door never leave each other behind!" Numbuh 3 tilted her head to the side, "How are we gonna help em? All we know is that they're in space! Should we tell Numbuh 5?" Numbuh 2 spoke up, "But it says the message was sent, like, 12 minutes ago. So, even if she and all those other kids on the Moon base saw the message, they'd send a rescue team right? And plus, Numbuh 5's really busy, so she might not help much, with her being the supreme leader and all. So we have to help em out ourselves. Any plans?" Numbuh 4 wore a face that showed he was in deep thought, "Can't they just land?" Numbuh 2 shook his head, "If they could, they would've done that by now. Something must be stopping them" Numbuh 3 spoke up excitedly raising her hand, "Ooo! Ooo! I have an idea! Why don't we send a message back, and find out where there treehouse is, then fix the problem!" Numbuh 2 looked a little surprised, "Numbuh 3, that's... Actually not a pretty bad idea" Numbuh 3 giggled, "See? I told you!" Numbuh 2 put his hand on his chin, "Well in order to do that, we need to send a signal back and record them a message. Ask them what's wrong, then see what they send back. Sounds like a plan?" Numbuh 3 and Numbuh 4 look at each other before they both nod at Numbuh 2, causing a smile to form on his face, "Then its a plan, hands together and we say Sector V on 3" The trio all put their hands together and Numbuh 2 spoke, "1, 2, 3-" As soon as Numbuh 2 said 3, the trio all yelled, "SECTOR V!!!"

*Meanwhile"

A kid that looked to be 10 and wearing all black was staring outside a window that led to the vast galaxy of space; where the stars shimmered, comets flew past in the distance. All though the sight was mesmerizing, the kid kept an emotionless face. When another child that looked to be around the same age walked up next to them, and signed something. The other one looked over speaking in a monotone voice, "Greetings to you as well Hornet. How is your garden doing?" Hornet signed something else with a smile on his face, the kid simply nodded, "I am glad. Now: is there a reason why you came up to disturb my peace?" Hornet signed something else a cheeky smile on their face, making the kid, "For the last time Hornet, I am okay. You've known me most of our short, meaningless lives and you know I have a tendency to prefer to be silent and left alone. why do you think I named myself Silence?" Hornet shrugged, before frowning and signing something else. Silence raised an eyebrow, "You feels as if something strange is going to occur?" Hornet nodded. There was a long pause as Silence looked back out the window. The reflection of their bored eyes held the mirrored pictures of the shining constellations that danced outside. "I do not know why," Silence started, "But I feel the exact same way."
