Storm chaser

The night that changed everything

It was 1969 as it was night as a old farm house was shown as rumbling in the sky was heard in the distance as lighting flashes everywhere as wind blows. A girl who was 15 was shown asleep in her room she had long dark brown hair as she wore a simple nightgown as she sleeps soundly her name was sally.

In another room a five year old girl named Joe was asleep in her bed with light dirty blonde hair with a flower night gale on as she holds her doll close her name was jo as toby the family dog lays down on there bed.

An old TV was shown as a reporter was giving a weather update"a circling northwest in kingsfisher canyon, moving northeast also I do wanna say you folk's back their way, a little bit earlier bill made--the tornado warning continues now and has been extended officially--i gave this to you earlier Oklahoma county but extended over into Oklahoma county to--lets call it they are calling all of Oklahoma county but right now maybe we can...".the father was shown as he was making him some coffee in a kitchen as he wore a forearm length button up white shirt with jeans and shoes as he walks back into the living room taking a sip of his coffee before flashes of lighting spread outside before hearing as the wind roars.

Sally and Jos mother runs into Sally's room turning on the lamp"Sally honey come on get up I need you to wait down stairs with your father I gotta get jo"she says before rushing out the room.

Sally scrambled out of her bed as she runs out of her room and down stairs"dad what's going on"she asked worried before hearing the wind roaring out side as her eyes widen with horror. Soon her mother comes down with jo as toby follows"we need to get down to the storm cellar right now come on"he says before opening the door as they wind blows harshly as Sally's hair flys around her before they all run out the house as Jo screamed for there dog.

"Hurry we gotta move hand her to me!"there father hollers over the wind before taking jo as the three run from the house as lighting cackles through the sky as thunder roars as toby runs after them. They run as chickens scattered everywhere just as lighting strucks metal creating sparks as trees fall making jo scream as they continue to run. Up head ahead Sally can see lighting flash across everywhere as they run to the entrance of the storm cellar.

There mother takes jo as they father unlocked the storm cellar Door "go now!"he yells over the wind as Sally runs into the cellar followed by her mother carrying jo then there father as he closed the hatch before barking was heard as there dad opens the hatch letting Toby in before closing it as he locks the cellar door in place before joining his family as the mother lights a lamp to give them some light.

"Dad are we going to be okay"Sally asked with tears as she hugs him"of course baby"he says holding his daughter tightly before soon they hear rapid wind roaring as the door to the cellar shakes the tornado was here as Sally looked up at one of the small window as lighting flashes it was a big tornado as she sees many things flying through the wind.

The door starts to rattle harshly as Sally was pushed gently over to her mother and sister as he walks up the steps holding tye door closed "daddy no!"Sally says with a bad feeling as Jo was in her mother's arms as they were huddled by the bed.

The father grunts holding on tightly as he grunts when the door shakes rapidly as the windows of the door rip off soon followed by the nail as he looks back to his family "I can't hold it! Dear God! I can't hold it anymore more! "He yells as Sally watches with horror as her and Joe's farther was ripped away from the door "no!"she yells as she and Jo screamed for their dad as there mother holds them tightly crying as she keeps them from running out as everything slowly starts to fade.

It was the next morning the house and the form were completely destroyed by the tornado as a t tractor hangs from a tree as a family grieves for there loss.
