Noise opened his eye to find himself in the middle of the forest. The hair on the back of his neck prickled as he stood and looked around carefully. He didn't recognize this part of the forest, and it didn't seem like it was anywhere near the cave that he and the others had been living in. He thought about calling out for Roman and Youngblood, but something told him that it was crucial that he be as quiet as possible. He went to draw one of his daggers from his belt, but when he held it out, he saw a glint of gold in his hand instead of silver. He looked down in confusion and ice gripped his veins as he saw the golden treble clef handle of his rapier in his hand.

He quickly dropped it as though it had burned him and stared at it on the ground as he backed away slowly. He stopped moving as the forest started to shift around him, swirling into an incomprehensible cacophony of different shades of silver and purple, as well as sharp, loud music. Noise stumbled as he put his hands over his ears and squeezed his eye shut. He felt a burning pain in his right eye, as well as over his left arm.

He felt something start to constrict around him and looked up in alarm to see bright, glowing violet chains coming down to wrap around his wrists, ankles, and throat. They were connected to something he couldn't see, far above him. They started to pull him around, leading him into a controlled, forced dance. He tried to pull out of it, but the chains only got tighter the more he resisted. An eerie, somber melody filled the air around him, and after a moment, he realized that he was singing against his will. He tried to stop, but that only made the chain around his throat tighten. He struggled to take a breath, but every beat of silence made the chains tighten more and more. A voice echoed through the space, cold and sharp and painfully familiar. It spoke in a teasing, almost threatening tone.

"See you soon~..."

All Noise could do as the blur of colors around him started to meld together was let out a strangled cry for help.
