The silence was unnerving. It was either silent in the room around Lily, or it was silent in Logan's head. She couldn't see inside his head, which was particularly annoying. But her attention snapped to the man on the table when she heard him tense and saw his claws ripping through his skin.

"He's slipping! He's slipping back, I'm losing him!" Kitty panicked and Lily was at her side immediately, trying to enter his mind once more. This time, she was successful and the scene she saw was particularly confusing.

A younger version of her, granted she looked the same, was passed out on the floor as a young Erik leaped out of a window. Present Logan began swinging his arms around, driving his claws directly into Lily's side. She grimaced as she felt them pierce the bone of her rib but pulled up a calm and happy memory regardless.

Logan's other claws caught Kitty across the stomach, making her cry out in pain as Erik took control of the metal in Logan's body. Lily groaned as the claws were ripped from her body, blood effectively spurting out of the wound. "Oh god, Kitty!" Bobby crouched down next to his girlfriend, putting pressure on the wound.

Logan's movement calmed, allowing Lily to exit his mind and work on stopping Kitty's bleeding as best as she could. She fixed most of it, the cuts still present along with some bleeding but that was all she could manage before she collapsed. "Lily" Charles caught the woman, lowering her to the ground with Erik's help.

When they noticed her eyes were shut and she was barely breathing, they shared a worried glance. Erik put pressure on the wound, willing the woman to wake up but she remained unconscious, blood flowing out of her wound at a steady pace.

"Is she okay?" Kitty asked, her eyes on the woman. When the two older men stayed silent, Kitty got her answer and looked back to Logan. "I've got him" she breathed and Charles nodded, not taking his eyes off his sister.

"She's our best line of defense against the Sentinels. If she doesn't wake up in time..." Bobby spoke, earning a murderous glare from Erik. "Her body will naturally heal itself" he said, anger behind his words as he looked down at the woman he loved like a sister.
