Bittersweet - Gajevy AU

Chapter 2

Levy looked over at the front entrance and noticed that Gajeel and Juvia walked inside.

"I wonder what his audition is gonna be like" she said and Lucy smirked.

"Shall we find out?" she asked and Levy smirked too.

"We shall" the bluenette responded and after Gajeel went to the storage room they gathered around the door along with Natsu and Juvia who were also interested.

"Hi Gajeel, what are you doing for your audition?" Erza asked curiously.

"I'll be doing the bass of Dance Dance by Fall Out Boy on a bass guitar" Gajeel responded.

"He loves that band too much" Natsu commented quietly as Gajeel began to play.

"Damn he's pretty good" Lucy smiled a little.

"Pretty good? Gajeel-kun is great~" Juvia whispered proudly and they all listened intently until he finished.

"Very impressive, is there anything else you're talented in?" Erza asked.

"Yeah, electric guitar and a little bit of acting" Gajeel responded.

"Acting? Mind giving me a demonstration?~" Erza asked curiously as she attempted to contain her excitement.

"Oh my God this is gonna be awesome" Natsu whispered excitedly.

"Sure I guess so" Gajeel responded and everyone by the door smiled eagerly.

"Alright I'll start with a random scene and you jump in when you feel like it. I used to have dreams, I wanted to be famous and loved and actually be someone but now look at me, stuck under a highway overpass and having to beg for money and food..." Erza began.

"That's rough buddy, I didn't have dreams but I lost everything... I was mugged in an alley and beaten until I could barely breathe, my house and office were both destroyed in a hurricane... and... my daughter was stabbed to death by a psychopath, you may have broken dreams but you didn't lose the most important person in your life..." Gajeel finished nonchalantly and the sound of Erza clapping could be heard through the door.

"That was beautiful!~ Welcome to Fairy Tail Gajeel!" Erza exclaimed and Levy turned to see both Natsu and Juvia were holding back tears.

"G-Gajeel-kun!" Juvia murmured and both Lucy and Levy laughed a little.

"He's coming, run!" Natsu exclaimed and he, Lucy, and Levy all ran to the cluster of chairs that were in front of a small wooden stage while Juvia stayed behind. Gajeel and Juvia ended up sitting near the front along with Natsu, Lucy, Gray, Lyon, Levy, Jet, and Droy while Erza leaped onto the stage.

"Okay everyone before we start today I'd like to introduce our newest member, Gajeel Redfox!~" the red head announced and held her thumb and index finger in the air, everyone else did the same and they all cheered with Juvia being the loudest.

"Well it's the beginning of the month so you all know what that means... time for some competition!" Erza exclaimed excitedly and everyone cheered again.

"This month groups of my choosing will all write a play involving mystery, tragedy, and romance~ and the winning play will be performed next month, good luck to you all the group sheet is on the notice board~ I have to add one more name first though" Erza announced and leaped off the stage to quickly scribble a name on the sheet which Levy assumed as Gajeel's and was proven right when she saw his name next to her's, Jet's, and Droy's.

He's probably pretty good at writing drama judging by the improv part of his audition... Levy thought as Jet and Droy looked at the sheet too, they both smiled eagerly and high fived before offering one to Levy too who gladly accepted. She looked to her left to see that Gajeel was looking at the sheet, up close he seemed kinda threatening, he had so many piercings that they were even on his arms and even in place of his eyebrows, he was wearing nothing but black, and he didn't smile that often, but if he was related to Natsu he had to have a sweet side deep down. Everyone eventually left the notice board and began to do their own thing.
