Flames of Desire

                                                                      Aurelia's POV 
I rush out of the door quickly as I realize the time. "2:45 PM" it says on my watch. I forgot I had a dawnbringers meeting at 3 PM. I barely had time to finish my lunch, so I packed that in my backpack on the way. Despite still being in school - college I'll add, just so you don't view me as a freshman or something. I have quite an important role as a dawnbringer. I was blessed with two super powers, both telepathy and particle manipulation. Most people are born with one power. Blessed or Wicked. I was one of the few selected the higher government had selected. As a baby, everyone knew of that as well. It's kinda why I grew to be so hunted. I'm currently wanted by at least 2 continents. Only by the "TSS" - also known as people who are "wicked". Not to sound cliche or anything, but I guess that means you could technically count me as a superhero. Finally, I made it into my meeting. I guess talking to myself made me look like an idiot, but it's whatever. They've known me for 19 years, I guess it could've been worse.

                                                                     Lucius's POV
Shoot. I stood outside of her home waiting on her to come out. Tick, tock, tick. It was quarter to 3, she should be out by now. A loud bang sends shivers down my spine as I hear the door slam shut. Who's the idiot talking, to herself? Clearly that can't be miss dawnbringer. I try to read her mind as I was lucky enough to have telepathy as my wicked power. I try my very best but all I can see is a dark void. How come I'm not able to read her mind? There's something weird with her. I need to come up with some sort of a plan. Maybe an accomplice or something. I know for sure I have a friend who would help me, granted this is the same guy who helped me to hide a body before. I'm never going to be able to break into the protective shield on my own. It seems she even has a protective barrier thru her mindspace. I didn't even know that was possible. I tap my watch, activating a secret reflection that if the sun hits so gently, it will activate my lair which I created underneath of her house. I figured that would be smart, and it's guarded by my own kind of magic, so she can't find it if she wanted too. It's laced by invisibility, so even the high priestess herself couldn't attempt to find it, even if she wanted too. It's as I said before, kitten,  you can always hide, but you can't run. Not for much longer, at least.

                                                                      ???'s POV
My phone began to ring. A call from Lucius? What could he want this time? I hadn't spoken with him since that incident with.. well, I won't disclose her name. I anticipate hitting accept, but eventually I do. "Yes?" I sigh. "It's been years, how come you are contacting me now?" I ask with a curious tone. "Listen man... I know it's been a while." he said with a raspy aspect to his voice. "But I need your help," he explained. "You're apart of TSS, right?" he asked. "Yes.." I replied in a hesitant tone, as to not let him know I was a bit nervous per his request. He explained the full situation and I complied. "I'll be there as soon as I can." I say hanging up. "She's gotta know this" I think to myself as I ruffle my dark hair through my hands, not knowing what to do. "But essentially. I'm on her team. I lean towards my car and sigh. "I guess I'll be making a trip to Shadowvale today."
