Y/n's Pov:
I pace back and forth waiting for Remus to return from his latest Order of the Phoenix mission, when I heard about the idea of transitioning Harry to the Burrow; I had tried to go but Remus refused to let me go. He made me promise to wait for them, and here I was waiting nervously with Mrs.Weasley.
"They'll be fine dear." Mrs.Weasley reassured and I nodded. I could feel my gut telling me to leave the house and shift, that something wasn't right. "Something isn't right." I mutter and she looks at me confused. "Are you okay?".
"Yeah, I just maybe it's because I haven't shifted in a while." I smile and she nods. "Go make sure everyone makes it back." She says and I nod taking, rushing out the door and swiftly transforming into a dragon. I apparate to where my gut is telling me to go and I see why. The Death Eaters are firing spell after spell at the group, I quickly fly the opposite way of the group and stop in front of the Death Eaters. They all freeze and the only sound is the flapping of my wings, I see Voldemort and snarl as I exhale fire at them all. They try to fire spells at me, but I dodge them and match them with fire. I knock a few off their brooms and the rest turn back. I turn back and catch up to the group, I glide next to Hagrid and the bike.
"Thank's Y/n." Harry says and I nod, as they apparate. I move backwards and see George and Remus flying, George gestures to me and I stare straight ahead as I feel Remus's eyes glued to me. I circle back to the back and make sure it is all clear before I apparate back to the Burrow and land alongside other order members. I shift back and walk towards the house as everyone starts to gather inside. After a bit Remus and George land, I sigh in relief as there are no signs of injuries. They enter the house and Remus pins Harry up against the wall, asking him a question. Once he answers correctly, he lets him go and I walk over to him. He glances up at me and I backup sensing the rising anger that is coming from him. I turn and see all the Weasleys happily hugging each other. A hand grabs my arm and I turn about to throw hands, I meet Remus's gaze and he nods his head in the direction of the kitchen. I follow him to the kitchen and he leans up against the counter. "You promised me that you would wait here." He says and I nod. "So why did you break it?".
"I had a gut feeling." I mumble and he sighs. "Are you sure it was just because you hadn't shifted in a while?".
"Yes, Remus. I'm sure, besides if I hadn't gotten there you guys might have faced worse.".
"That's not my point." He says clearly getting annoyed. "You could've gotten hurt.".
"So could've you!" I say and he crosses his arms and I roll my eyes. "You do this every time." He says and I groan. "Remus...".
"Don't Remus me!" He says angrily and I wince. "Why? All I'm trying to do is make sure Greyback doesn't hurt you. He would be extremely overjoyed to get to a shifter and make her a Werewolf.".
"I know, Okay!" I say surprising myself with the irritation. "I can't help it, though. You tell me to stay here and I would never let myself get over the fact that because I listened to you, you died. I get it you want to protect me from the werewolf that cursed you.". He runs a hand through his already tousled hair and I sigh. "I'm sorry." I mumble and he nods. "Me too. The stress of the Dark Lord on the rise is taking a toll on both of us." He says as I sit up on the counter next to him. "We'll get through this, and as long as you promise to not keep me in the dark anymore, I'll listen to you and stay the next time you tell me to." I say and he smiles, holding up a pinky finger. "I promise to not keep you in the dark.".
"And I promise to listen to you, as long as I don't feel that you are in any immediate danger." I say linking our pinkies together and he chuckles, squeezing my pinky before pulling his away. I rest my head on his shoulder, and his arm wraps around my shoulders. "I love you." I whisper.
"I love you too, y/n." He chuckles.
