Y/n's Pov:

I have tourettes, and it makes my learning and day to day hard. It wasn't exactly common at Hogwarts and me being one of the few easily made me a target for Malfoy and other Slytherin's. Luckily my boyfriend, Dean Thomas, was very supportive and would find any way to help me. Today was one of the worst days, I didn't want to hold my tics in for it could make them worse and make my anxiety worse. I packed up my bag and left the classroom, Dean joined me and we were walking down the hall, I had a tic and Malfoy unfortunately was within earshot. "Do-Do-doup." Malfoy says mocking me, and Dean instinctively takes my hand. I twitched my neck and Dean glances at me. "You okay?" He asks softly and I nod. "Yep, just a tic." I mumble and he nods. "Hey, Thomas!" Malfoy shouts as the Trio joins us. Dean ignores him and we keep walking. "How can you date someone who makes weird noises and movements?" Malfoy shouts and Dean snaps. "It's not her fault, she can't control it." He snarls and Malfoy laughs. "Sure Thomas, sure. If you aren't going to acknowledge that you are dating a weirdo." He says turning the other way and Dean makes a move to go after him, and I grab his arm. "It's fine Dean." I whisper and he nods. "Sorry, love. I wanted to defend you." He mumbles and I smile. "I know you do, you do every day. But lets not have you get a detention or get hurt, yeah?" I ask and slide my hand down to intertwine with his. "Yeah." He nods and I sigh, before ticcing again. "Thank you.".

"Of course, lovely." he chuckles.
