17~You cannot leave me

"Are you really sure about this Jimin?". Taemin asked, worry and what seemed like concern etched on his face.

Jimin nodded slowly standing up. "I'm more than sure hyung, let's do this".

Taemin sighed and nodded. He knew there was nothing he could say to change the younger's mind at this point. He was more determined than ever to do it.

"Okay then". He whispered before he held Jimin's hand and whispered some incantation before both of them seemed to disappear.

The others looked at each other surprised. Where could Jimin and Taemin have gone, Jungkook and Taehyung thought.

But nevertheless, trusting Jimin is one thing they've learnt never to compromise or suspect.

Jimin must have found a way to save them. They all thought.

They continued to fight relentlessly, as if it was a battle that would mark the end of their lives.

But whether it was or not, they knew they had to survive, one way or another.

This can't be the end of BTS, and definitely not in this world or manner.

There's no way they would be found. They would just be forgotten and known to have just........ disappeared.

With absolutely no trace whatsoever.

And that cannot happen.

But the hyungs were becoming weaker and weaker, not like they were strong from the onset but they had enough strength to stand their ground. But now, it was becoming too difficult for them.

The younger ones were still strong , they still had enough strength to continue fighting but not as strong as they were before and what would one even expect anyway, they are humans and naturally they would get tired.

The monsters on the other hand kept increasing in number. It was like an endless sea of them and it wouldn't be long now, the humans will get consumed by them.

"We have to win". Jungkook said to himself.

Being the maknae, it felt like a thousand swords piercing into him at the slightest thought of losing his hyungs.

But unfortunately, everyone can't survive in such a blood thirsty battle.

And deep down, each of them knew this but they begged to differ.

They all must survive, they just have to.

Soon after, the two who had disappeared had reappeared again and joined the fight.

While Taemin was fighting, Jimin was gathering all his members in one circle.

He would miss them greatly. But this was for the best.

He turned to Taemin who was already looking at him, they both nodded in unison.

It's time.

Taemin brought out a small looking object from his pouch and opened it before throwing it on the floor. Little sparks of fire ignited and suddenly started running off into different directions. Everyone stared in confusion, including the demons.

Jimin hurriedly led his members to the portal which was getting smaller by the second.

"Come on guys, let's go". He said.

"What's happening?". Jungkook asked as confused as the others.

"Taemin and I found a way out. You saw those little sparks right?".

They nodded in unison.

"We had poured the elixir around the whole place, the little sparks that ran off in different directions were going towards the places the elixir is, they can sniff it out".

"It's not a normal fire, is it?". Taehyung asked.

Jimin nodded.

"Yes, and we have to leave before it blows off. And once it does, every single being in here dies". He explained.

Jimin smiled at the relief faces of his members.

Finally, they could go back home.

Taemin rushed to them. "We have to leave, now". He stated.

Jimin nodded and quickly hugged all of them as tightly as he could.

"What's wrong?". Taehyung asked.

"Nothing, I just can't believe this is finally over". He muttered, tears dropping from his eyes.

"We can do all the crying once we're out, for now let's go". Yoongi uttered with a small smile.

Jimin nodded and wiped his tears. "Kookie, you go first".

"Why me?". Jungkook stared. Somewhere inside him he was scared, he didn't want to be the only one to survive, he would not be able to live with the pain.

"Because you're the strongest, I need you to go out first so you can pull the others out". Jimin explained and he sighed before nodding.

Jungkook moved back and jumped out falling in the process, he quickly stood up and turned to see his hyungs still inside.

He extended his hand and Seokjin was the first he pulled out, then the others followed one by one until only Taemin and Jimin were left.

They both looked at each other and Taemin gave a sad smile.

"Please help them get over it". Jimin whispered and he nodded before taking Jungkook's hand.

The portal was now very small.

Taehyung immediately extended his hand. "Come Jimin, let's finally go home". He said.

"Tae. Please take care of everyone". Jimin sadly whispered.

Everyone stared in confusion.

"What are you saying Jimin?. Come on, the portal is almost closing". Taehyung said hurriedly.

He knew what Jimin was about to do. He just didn't understand why?.

"Jimin please". He pleaded.

"Hyung". Jungkook whispered.

The others stared in shock, tears brimming their eyes.

"Jimin what are you doing?. Take his hand". Jin scolded.

Jimin took out something from his pouch, it was the same small object Taemin had taken out earlier. And with tears streaming down his cheeks, he dropped it, the same way Taemin did.

Taemin grabbed Taehyung and pulled his hand back. "Come on".

"No, let me go. Jimin". Taehyung struggled.

"I love you all". Jimin whispered and as the portal became smaller, in that tiny hole before it completely closed, Taehyung saw Jimin lit up in flames and the next thing that was heard, was an explosion which blew all of them far away.

"JIMIN". Was the last thing they all yelled before their back hit the floor and knocked them unconscious.

Jimin was gone. 

A member of the most popular band in the world...... was gone.

For good.

Super sorry for the late late late update.

The next chapter which is also the last chapter of Hunted Soulmates is going to be so sorrowful. So grab ur tissues buttttt it's also going to be something that'll make y'all happy so get ready🤭🤭.
