Marshall's POV

I watched her until she was out of sight. Something about her made me very much intrigued. Is it the fact that she didn't recognize me at all, or that she has this mystery to her, or that beautiful pair of green eyes? Fucks know. All I know is that she took over my brain since I saw her the other night on the balcony talking to her best friend.

I don't even attend this college. Heck, I dropped out of school since high school. Kayden attends here. I just came yesterday to talk to his linguistics lecturer to get some ideas on some material I'm making for this new album.

I remember how beautiful she looked, and I just had to see her again, hence why I came back tonight. Our meeting, however, was purely coincidental. I guess the big guy up there really does listen.

I got a text from Kayden saying he is ready to leave. I grabbed my stuff and made way to the car. Our drive home was silent just the way I like it, but I know very well that Kayden will not let me rest.

"So Zenobia, huh?" He mentioned in a teasing tone.

"Fuck off man." I replied sulking in my seat.

"She had no clue who you were man. Her friends went nuts and she just walked off. "

That was what had me going crazy. How did she not know who I was? I mean I don't like the whole rush and gush but like really?

" What's the deal with you and the best friend? You've been eye fucking her the whole time." I had to change the topic.

"The same way you have been eye fucking Zenobia? ," I flipped him the bird, " she is just cute man."

"You thinking about hitting that? " I asked him.

"I don't know, she doesn't look like the hit and run kind. But I'm going for her number though. What about you? Going after Ms. Mysterious?"

"Heck yeah man, have you seen her? She is beautiful, exotic even and those eyes. Heck yeah, I'm going after that."

Kayden just laughed at me and mumbled something about being love sick and continued driving.

For sure I'll be at that college again. I have to.

Zenobia's POV

The next day after school, Mara came to my classroom (did I mention the girls and I are primary school teachers? ). She was going on and on about how clueless I was and how I'm worse than Patrick living under a rock. Apparently, at least Patrick knew about the outside world. I was confused as hell as to what warrants me this busing.

"Yo, can you get to the point. I'm tired as hell, and we still have college to head to." She looked at me and glared.

"I'm waiting on the girls so we can bash you in together on our way to college." She said, sitting with a huff and glaring at me. I rolled my eyes at her dramatic performance and rested my head on my desk. I had the most restless night ever. Why was I so intrigued by him? Yes he was sexy asf, yes he smell so manly like forest rain, yes his eyes are so intense and mysterious, yes he had the pinkest lips I have ever seen, that low cut beard he had that just enhanced his masculinity but those aren't reasons to be losing sleep over right? Right? Ugh damn him.

Just then, Lulu and Andria walked into my class. Here we go. I groaned loudly, letting them know I was not in the mood for this shit.

"Did you tell her?" Andria asked.

"Nope, I was waiting on you guys so we can be in disbelief together." Mara answered. Lulu just laughed.

"Guys, let her be, we all know that out of the four of us, Zen would've been the one to walk past any celebrity, so why are we so surprised she doesn't notice him. At least he noticed her." I quickly raised my head and stared at Lulu.

"What the fudge are you talking about and which celebrity didn't I notice? I wasn't even at the dance with you guys."

"Not at the dance, you idiot, at college. The guy that was next to Kayden. The mysterious one?" Andria pointed out, but I was still clueless.

"Yeah, so, what's wrong with him?" I asked.

"Ugh, sometimes I can't with you, Zen. How can you not know who he was?" Mara asked, looking at me in utter disbelief. She walked over to me and showed me a picture on her phone. The guy looked like Marshall minus the hoodie. She showed me another one, but this one, he hadn't any beard. Then I dawn on me, I really do live under a rock because I still had no clue who he was. Andria groaned at my lack of recognition and played a song. It was the rap song I liked a lot called Beautiful. My three friends stared at me in anticipation. That's when two and two made four in my mind. The dude in the pictures, the song, Marshall. He was that rapper they called Eminem.

"There it goes. Her brain has made the connection." Mara commented. I just flipped her the bird and grabbed my bag, heading to the car.

"Close my damn door when you leave. I'll be in the car and hurry the fudge up. We're gonna be late for classes." I yelled to them.

I sat in my car waiting on them. So Marshall is famous. All the more reason to stay away from his mysteriously sexy ass.

The girls finally came to the car, and I had to endure half an hour of them teasing me of how clueless I am. Hey, I'm sorry I don't do the whole celebrity stalking like everyone else. Heck, only last month I learned that Bruno Mars wasn't a balding white man with a great voice.
