With our bellies full of spaghetti and our spirits high, I gathered the girls—Layla, Ariana, and Zyniah—and led them to the backyard for a smoke session. As we settled onto the lawn chairs, passing around a joint, the conversation flowed freely.

"Damn, Kyra, you and Amri couldn't even wait until we left to get freaky?" Layla teased, her eyes sparkling with mischief.

I shrugged nonchalantly, taking a drag from the joint. "Hey, when the mood strikes, you gotta seize the moment."

Ariana grinned, her eyes alight with curiosity. "So spill the tea, Kyra. What exactly went down after we left?"

I laughed, feeling a flush of heat spread across my cheeks. "Let's just say things got pretty heated pretty quickly."

Zyniah raised an eyebrow, her expression unreadable. "Details, Kyra. We want details."

I obliged, regaling them with the steamy encounter between Amri and me, sparing no explicit detail. Their reactions ranged from gasps of shock to fits of laughter, and by the time I finished, we were all in stitches.

"Damn, Kyra, you're wild," Layla exclaimed, wiping tears of laughter from her eyes.

I shrugged, a satisfied smile playing on my lips. "What can I say? I learned from the best."

As the conversation shifted, we began to talk about our plans for the summer ahead. With graduation behind us, the possibilities were endless, and we were determined to make the most of it.

"We should totally plan a road trip," Ariana suggested, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "Just us girls, hitting the open road and seeing where it takes us."

Zyniah nodded in agreement, her mind already racing with ideas. "Yeah, and we can hit up all the dope festivals and concerts along the way."

Layla grinned, her adventurous spirit shining through. "Count me in. I'm down for anything as long as there's good music and good vibes."

And as we sat there, surrounded by the warmth of friendship and the promise of adventures to come

With the sun dipping below the horizon, casting a warm glow over the backyard, we decided to switch gears and have some fun with TikTok. As Layla expertly braided my hair into intricate patterns, Ariana and Zyniah danced and lip-synced to the latest trends, while I recorded the whole thing, laughing at their antics.

"Damn, Lay, you've got skills," I commented, admiring her handiwork in the mirror.

Layla smirked, tossing her hair over her shoulder. "You know it, Kyra. I'm about to make you look fly as hell."

As we finished up the TikToks, the sound of voices approaching caught our attention. I peeked out the window and spotted Amri, Tyler, and Josiah making their way towards us.

"Looks like the party's about to get started," I announced, a grin spreading across my face.

Amri's eyes lit up when he saw me, and he wasted no time crossing the distance between us, pulling me into a tight hug. "Hey, babe," he murmured, pressing a kiss to my forehead.

"Hey yourself," I replied, my heart fluttering at the sight of him.

Tyler and Josiah joined the fray, slapping Amri on the back and exchanging greetings with the girls. Soon enough, we had a roaring bonfire going, the flames casting a warm glow over the backyard.

As we gathered around the fire, swapping stories and sharing laughs, I couldn't help but feel a sense of contentment wash over me. Surrounded by my friends and the person I loved, I knew that moments like these were what life was all about.
