As I stepped into the house, my mind was already drifting to thoughts of unwinding with my family, but what greeted me was far from what I expected. The moment I heard the chorus of "Surprise!" erupting around me, I froze, my heart pounding in my chest.

"Fuck," I muttered under my breath, my eyes widening in shock as I took in the scene before me. Balloons, streamers, and a crowd of familiar faces filled the room, all focused on me with expectant smiles.

Amri appeared beside me, his usual smirk in place as he nudged me lightly. "Damn, Kyra, they got you good," he said, amusement lacing his voice.

I shot him a glare, my nerves fraying at the edges. "Shit, Amri, you knew about this?" I hissed, feeling a surge of frustration bubbling up inside me.

He shrugged nonchalantly, his gaze drifting lazily around the room. "Yeah, figured it out a while ago. But hey, it's your birthday, babe. Try to enjoy it," he replied, his tone casual.

I rolled my eyes, a mixture of irritation and gratitude swirling inside me. "Whatever," I muttered, plastering on a fake smile as I made my way further into the room.

Ariana bounded over to me, her energy infectious as she enveloped me in a tight hug. "Happy birthday, Kyra!" she exclaimed, her voice filled with excitement.

I returned her hug, feeling a surge of warmth at her genuine enthusiasm. "Thanks, Ari," I replied, my smile feeling a little more genuine now.

Zyniah appeared at my side, her expression a mix of concern and excitement. "Girl, you look like you've seen a ghost. You okay?" she asked, her voice tinged with worry.

I let out a shaky laugh, trying to push aside the lingering sense of unease. "Yeah, just wasn't expecting all this," I admitted, gesturing to the room around us.

Layla sauntered over, a mischievous glint in her eyes. "Well, get used to it, honey. We're gonna make sure you have the best damn birthday ever," she declared, her voice filled with determination.

As the night wore on and the drinks kept flowing, I found myself sinking deeper into a blissful haze of drunkenness. Laughter filled the air, mingling with the sound of music pulsating through the speakers.

"Shit, this is good stuff," I slurred, taking another sip of my drink as I leaned against Amri, my head spinning pleasantly.

Amri chuckled, his arm wrapped around my waist in a protective embrace. "Yeah, babe, you're handling it like a champ," he teased, his voice slightly slurred as well.

I giggled, feeling the warmth of the alcohol coursing through my veins. "Damn right I am," I declared proudly, my words coming out in a jumble.

But amidst the laughter and the chatter, a single thought consumed my mind: I wanted him. I needed him.

Leaning in close, I whispered into Amri's ear, my breath hot against his skin. "I want you," I murmured, my words barely audible over the music.

Amri's gaze met mine, a spark of desire flickering in his eyes. Without a word, he lifted me effortlessly into his arms, his touch sending shivers down my spine.

With a drunken grin, I wrapped my arms around his neck, holding on tight as he carried me towards my room. The world spun around us as we stumbled down the hallway, the anticipation building with each step.

And as he gently laid me down on the bed, his lips crashing against mine in a fierce, passionate kiss, I knew that this was exactly where I wanted to be. In his arms, lost in the heat of the moment, everything else faded

As the first rays of sunlight filtered through the curtains, I groaned, my head throbbing with the remnants of last night's indulgence. Blinking blearily, I shifted in bed, only to freeze as I realized I was naked, tangled up with Amri, who was sleeping peacefully beside me.

"Shit," I muttered, rubbing my temples as I tried to piece together the events of the night before.

Amri stirred, his eyes fluttering open as he stretched lazily. "Morning, babe," he mumbled, his voice husky with sleep.

I forced a weak smile, trying to ignore the pounding in my head. "Morning," I replied, my voice coming out hoarse.

But as I glanced down, my eyes widened in surprise at the sight of his morning wood, undeniable and insistent. Heat flooded my cheeks as I felt a surge of arousal coursing through me, despite the pounding headache.

Without a word, I reached out tentatively, my fingers trailing lightly along his length. Amri's breath hitched, his gaze locking with mine as I took him in my mouth, my movements slow and deliberate.

The room filled with the sound of his ragged breathing, mingling with my own soft moans of pleasure. And as I felt him shudder beneath me, his release flooding my mouth with warmth, a sense of satisfaction washed over me.

Pulling away, I met his gaze, a lazy grin spreading across my lips. "Well, good morning to you too," I quipped, trying to inject some levity into the moment.

Amri chuckled, his fingers threading through my hair affectionately. "Best wake-up call ever," he murmured, pulling me close for a lingering kiss.

Eventually, we reluctantly untangled ourselves from each other, slipping into our clothes with a mixture of reluctance and resignation. But as we faced the day ahead, I couldn't shake the feeling of contentment that lingered between us, a silent promise of more adventures to come.

As we got ready for the day, the sunlight streaming through the windows felt like a harsh reminder of the night's indulgences. I winced as I pulled on my clothes, the memories of our passionate encounter still fresh in my mind.

Ariana smirked as she caught my eye, a knowing glint in hers. "So, Kyra, heard you had quite the night," she teased, her tone playful.

I rolled my eyes, feeling a flush of embarrassment creeping up my neck. "Oh, shut up, Ari," I muttered, trying to play it cool despite the heat rising in my cheeks.

Zyniah chimed in, her laughter ringing through the room. "Yeah, we heard you two getting pretty loud," she added, her grin widening.

Layla joined in the teasing, her expression mischievous. "Guess you two couldn't keep your hands off each other, huh?" she teased, nudging me lightly.

I shot them all a mock glare, trying to ignore the way my heart raced at the memory of Amri's touch. "Alright, alright, you got me," I admitted, a sheepish grin tugging at my lips.

But despite the teasing, there was an underlying sense of camaraderie among us, a shared understanding of the complexities of love and desire. And as we headed out into the day together, I couldn't help but feel grateful for the unwavering support of my closest friends, even in the midst of our playful banter.
