Almost every Christian are praying for the person whom God wills for them. Even non-Christians are praying for the right one.
If God gives you this right person, this one person He wills for you, what would you do?
The first thing would be something we think we would normally do but this, I would still say:
"When God gives you the right person, keep on serving the Lord".
It was when God commanded Moses to teach the Israelites as to what they should do when they get to the land He has promised.
..."When the Lord thy God shall have brought thee into the land which he sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give thee great and goodly cities, which thou buildest not, and houses full of all good things, which thou fillest not, and wells digged, which thou diggest not, vineyards and olive trees, which thou plantedst not; when thou shalt have eaten and be full;
Then beware lest thou forget the Lord"...
So, when God gives you the right person,
beware lest thou forget the Lord.
Because above all, God knows how people are.
When people are in need of something, when people are praying for something: we are constant in our prayers. We are passionate in pleasing and serving the Lord, we remember Him.
But when it shall be, that God gave us what we need and what we have been praying for: we neglect our prayer time. We tend to lose the desire in pleasing and serving Him. We tend to forget the Lord.
Should not it be that we serve the Lord more when He gives what we prayed for? That the Lord's giving is a testament that the God we are serving is a God who hears and answers our prayers? That serving the Lord more is our way of showing how grateful we are to Him?
Should not it be that the Lord's giving will make us tremble?
Because though the Lord gives, He takes away, too.
