You were picked up at the airport by your Mom and Aunt Francisca who said they were going to take you girls out for breakfast.
So over big plates of pancakes and stuff you were slowly buttering one and making sure you covered each part of the buttermilk monstrosity that was just what you had needed.
Feeding the sadness that you had all managed to keep to a minimum in Korea. Your Mom feeds you a bite of her hash browns. "It's hard as a woman to be strong for yourself and for them. You need to walk a fine line when they need to be the ones to cry."
Your Tia sips her milkshake nodding at her daughters. "They don't feel like men needing us so much. They're taught to be big and strong and it raised right to be polite and respect women."
Both your Moms laugh at the blushing of the three you but when Rose asks your Mom is the one who says. "Sometimes men channel their grief with sex they don't always ask for it's more desperate."
Chewing a bite of your pancake you nod and can't help the smile that tugs at the corner of your lips. "Namjoon seemed to want to posses me, I couldn't believe how close he needed me and my touch."
"They were embarrassed, that's why I showed you girls that drawing."
"May we see it in person now?" Your Mom asks her and taking the sketch book her and Francesca look at it and pointing out things the last mini photo strip as you had come to call them has been lifted and you see that it was very reminiscent of what you were doing now.
It showed you four at the airport alone, no one waving to you. Even the one of you looking at Roses drawing as if it was important and you had kept quiet about what you knew locking it away so it would happen the way it was supposed to.
The last pic was the most detailed, except for the fact that your pancakes weren't stacked quite so high or as large hanging off the sides but you laugh as you see the butter dish that you were dipping your knife into.
"I've always loved butter more then syrup on my pancakes. You knew we were coming here for breakfast?"
Rose nods. "Everytime one of my drawings happens I know I'm not crazy and my head feels less buzzed. You know when you've been drinking and your head feels floaty? I feel like I have more room now."
Christmas came and you gifted Rose with the tablet and software you had gotten her to do her artwork. Everyone had chipped in for her gift from her idol friends. Around six pm you had to threaten her to get her to remember to eat her dinner.
But when you looked at the drawing it was beautiful. It looked like a storefront but it was set up like the greasers and socs we're ready for a rumble. But when she showed you the next picture you said.
"Oh I know that place, it's out by the outlet stores. At Christmas time they all have these holiday window displays like the ones at Disneyland."
"I'm going to work there, making window displays. Mannequin was one of my choices."
Realizing that you had forgotten all about movie and game nights that you hadn't sent your list off to Namjoon. You would just have to hope none of your lists doubled up to much and hit send.
Rose had went to the outlets armed with a purple sketchbook that she said held her future. You had drove her down to where she said she was going to get a job.
Which you were excited for her that based on her drawings they had offered her to rearrange their windows to attract people.
"I have a budget on what I can work with to fit the Theme. I have to be back tomorrow to pick up my charge card."
