"Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday to you." Mina heard her member sing, as they walked into her room, Yunha holding a cake.
Slowly she sat up in her bed, a soft smile spread on her face, as she rubbed her eyes.
The song continued, even when all of the five members found a spot to sit on the bed, leaving no empty place.
Seola had scoffed down under the duvet, where Mina already laid, listening to her members end the song.
"Congratulations Mina." Sujin patted the younger girl's head. "You are 18 now!!"
Happiness flowed in the room, where sunlight broke in from cracks in the curtain. Thankful for the girls being there, Mina sat up to blow out the candles.
"Can I call you nonna now? because none have such a pretty forehead as you," Seola commented with a smirk on her face, lifting her eyebrows.
Taken back by the remark, the girls turned their attention to Seola confused.
"To you, I can always be your nonna," Mina joked, blinking her right eye to Seola.
"You are so hot," Seola admitted with a dreamy expression.
"What goes on in your head sometimes?" Sujin frowned her brow, shaking her head lightly. "No actually I don't want to know."
"Well what can I say, I'm just making sure you're not lacking vitamin me," Seola proud told and pushed her hair over her right shoulder.
"You're crazy," Yunha looked at the younger girl, a shocked expression on her face, before she changed topic. "If anyone wants cake, I'll place it in the refrigerator, before it melts."
Miyeon stood up to help Yunha put the cake away for now. It wasn't exactly smart to eat cake before dance practice.
The sound of a ringing phone surprised the girls. Aya grabbed Mina's phone and gave it to her member. The rest of the members went out of the room quickly to give Mina some private time with her family.
Aya stumbled after them, her purple slippers slipped, which made her loose balance for a short moment. Both hands went to her cheeks, as she embarrassed left the room.
"Congratulation with your birthday sweetie," Mina's mom happily waved through the screen, holding the phone out, so her father also could be seen.
"My baby is getting old," her dad faked tears falling down his face, before a widely smile was visible on his face.
"Thanks," Mina spoke, fondly looking at her parents through the screen.
"What are you up to today, Minhua?" her dad questioned curious.
"We are gonna keep practicing the dance routine most of the day," Mina moved across her bed to pull the curtains away, and let the sunlight inside.
"That's sounds exciting honey," her mom admitted truthfully, looking fondly at her daughter.
