I know, I know! You're just dying to get to the fanfiction, you don't want the author to start telling you a bunch of unnecessary things. I just wanted to let you know that this page will be dedicated to giving updates on this book and the stories within it! think of this page as a personal journal or archive of sorts. things to expect when reading things on this page include:

[5/7/24] - First Fic upload!

Definitely not a fan of this one but, thought to include it. It's a rewrite of an older draft I wrote, that i'll probably post a link to later for anyone who wants to see the original. It was first written back around 2020/2021 I think, back when corruptions were all the rage lol. I haven't kept up with that side of the fandom anymore. so if this might be VERY dated. 

still, I wanted to add it since it was already written up, hopefully it isn't too painful to read.

I'm currently hoping to write a bf/spirit fic(the slash does NOT mean pairing, i'm just adding it to include characters more easily). I feel like Senpai/spirit deserve a little more love.  I swear people only add senpai in their fics to be an absolute menace, and I get it, he's an asshole but like damn. nobody ever wants this man to do something good. Hopefully, I can settle on the idea and get it out in a timely manner. In the meantime, good luck reading the fic on the next page and I'll see you next time!

[7/2/24] - ....Hey.....

Oh my God....What the hell happened......

Hold up, Hold Up, lemme explain myself...please let me explain myself.

I started working on like, 3 separate fics all at once. like, I was alternating between plots and It was wild.  Shit was happening like a crossover episode, I don't know what I was thinking. On top of that, I was also working on my own au, trying to revamp it and all. pretty sure I was doing something else too, but my mind is blanking at the moment, so i'll probably update when I remember, BUT back to the point!

I guess somewhere up in that mentally unstable brain of mine, I got quite overzealous and God had to bring me back down to earth.

so I got extreme burn out. 

now, here we are a month later, and i'm reading over the fics I wrote and realizing: Dear God I hate this. I don't wanna throw it away cus I spent time on it, but I also don't know how to rewrite it in a way that makes it better.

Gist is: Plot wise, They all suck.

It's okay though! I've headed back to the drawing board and now i'm kinda writing something I think is decent. If it's not up by tomorrow, it should be up sometime this week.

While I can't make promises, do expect some more frequent updates. My brain is a little fried juggling all these projects, but I think i'll be okay! Next update will probably be fic notes and some other ramble. but that's about it. I'll see you all then hopefully! Or not, Y'know...If you're not reading this page. Which, SHAME ON YOU if you aren't!/j

Oh also, Here's a pdf to the corruptious curiosity fic draft I said i'd post. not that it's important or anything, but I said I'd do that and I meant it. I don't break my promises! Hopefully by looking at my old work, it will make all of you less insecure about your work! I give you all 100% permission to make fun of it, because i'm doing that too(just in a more loving maternal kinda way).

[7/3/24] - Rambles Of A Crazy Author

This one is funny only because of what happened while writing it.

For starters, this fic was written in segments. I wanted to try and pace myself a little better and break up the changes of scene by segmenting this.

Just one problem with that:

Transitions.

Oh lord, the transitions. Because I segmented it, I had to find a way to transition from one to the next, and I don't really think I managed to do that pretty well. Mind you, I wrote each segment out in order, so I wasn't hopping around much. It still just turned out okay, but it's definitely something to be improved. Hopefully the choppiness doesn't make it too hard to read....

Also because by segment 3, the iced coffee i was drinking couldn't sustain me anymore and my brain decided it was ready to end the oneshot. I fought for the rest of the story, it did not go the route it was originally supposed to go.

I'll leave it to you to guess when segment 3 starts lol

Anyways, I'll leave the story summary below, along with any of my scraps and thoughts from the writing process:

[Summary] - Every school year is another valentine, and today is no different. Nene and Jordan are known as "that couple", constantly trying to one up everyone on valentines day to try and look better than them. Pico, tired of constantly having to hear about it and see it, decides that he'd rather spend his day elsewhere, specifically with his boyfriend. What was supposed to be a small gift for bf in celebration of the day, accidentally turns into a big deal when he manages to one up nene, in a show of love!

[Segment 1 - Line 8- Alternative Dialog] - ".... just enough to knock him out of his dazed stare into nothingness."

[Segment 2 - Line 7- Alternative Dialog] - "...As Jordan(or as darnell liked to call him, "Jared Leto")..."

[Segment 2 - Line 12 "...Pico watches as Jordan spins around on a dart board, letter in mouth, as Nene throws knives at him."] - Note: this did make me laugh, the imagery is so stupid my god. like yeah, dudes just spinning on a fucking dart board in the middle of the cafeteria and teachers are doing jack shit about it.

[Segment 3 - Line 10 "...he probably would have run into Nene."] - Note: Pico is so hostile towards Nene right now lol poor girl.
