Another week passed as the continuation of the strange occurrences pressed on. The eyes the size of moons, the voices in her mind, different stages of frustration coming from Caspion. All of it increased and extruded the expectations of the previous night before. Until tonight, when Caspion didn't even come into the bedroom, he didn't even flinch, and neither did Amanda. Tonight she stood at the treeline for a longer time, staring into the blackness that filled every crack in the trees. The large eyes staring down at her, unmoving.

"I'm-" she hesitated, a moment of fear that struck her heart and her lungs. Causing her breath to become unsteady once again, but there was the voice that calmed the storm inside.
"I know who you are, you are the Seeker." The voice was calm, a comfortable warmth that seemed to wrap her up in a hug... and she didn't know if she liked it, if it comforted her to the point of a dangerous zone. She shook her head in confusion once she realized the words that the words spoke.

"How are you doing that?" she asked up to the large iridescent eyes that stared her down. "And... What's a seeker?" she asked as her head tilted to the left slightly. Her eyes squinted in confusion. She had never heard of the terminology before, not as a descriptor at least.

Taylor shifted on her feet in the snow as she watched the two large eyes lifting upwards before the ground shook as if an earthquake began, but it quickly ceased its shaking and the voice resided once again.

"Words cannot form from my tongue to beings of your size, you would rip apart by the flesh and your soul would turn to ash in the snow where you stand." He spoke through her mind in a smoothing and deep voice. The voice was almost like a father's when trying to calm a crying child. Smokey and hushed. The lights that were the large creature's eyes blinked down at Taylor as she stared up at him in the silence that surrounded them, "And a seeker... a human such as yourself, as curious as yourself. That is a seeker." He paused, "The trouble that you have caused in the past is abysmal... and all in the name of curiosity." The voice shifted slightly from a soft and somber tone to an admonishing one, but it didn't last.

Taylor's eyes fell from the giant's down to the snow beneath her. She thought about the many times she had gotten into trouble from her curiosity, but it always answered the questions she had on the subjects that she followed- except for this one. Her eyes narrowed softly as she stared down at the snow. Frustration in that fact rising in her gut.

"You are a pawn to your own emotions, seeker." He paused with a deep sigh, "As though you allow them to run your actions. Be mindful of your emotions. They are the path to a darker path of life..." The voice became tense as the lights of the eyes faded to blackness. The eyes disappeared into the night that the trees succumbed to, yet Taylor didn't accept the goodbye. Her nostrils flared in anger and her eyebrow twitched as she jerked her attention back up at the missing spheres that occupied the space once before. She stood there for a longer moment in contemplation. Does she go in there, search for the thing that's occupying her brain space, or does she go back to bed?

Taylor turned away from the spot as she continued to stare at the blackneed that absorbed the area. Her attention finally pivoted towards the window behind her and she took a few steps towards it, but what if this thing was there still? She could feel eyes staring her down, holes being burned into her back as she stopped mid stride.

"Go to bed, Brewton." the voice still resided in her mind. Willing her to continue her walk towards the cabin, but she would deny the suggestion and the premise of her intentions being emotion fueled.

Taylor swiveled back towards the forbidden forest and strode towards it. She moved with purpose as the voice continued to will her away. Hoping that the recommendations and the demands would stop her.
