Chapter 7.5: Flashbacks Pt. 2

Katelynne's P.O.V:

"The next day of school everybody that would look at me pointed and would whisper something to their neighbor.

I was nervous.

Nobody really talked about me, there was nothing to talk about.

I didn't do anything bad...

I thought to myself that it had probably been because I looked like I haven't slept in days.

I was wrong...

My old bully had came up to me and started talking to me.

Keep in mind my old bully was the one he cheated on me with...

She came up to me and this is what she said;

'You little slut!

How dare you sleep with MY man when you knew that he was done with you!

I was right about you all along you whore!'

After she told me off she started to fight.

Her telling me off was the first thing that started a crowd, then when she started throwing punches it drew more people in, recording everything.

I tried to fight back but couldn't.

I was so confused of what had happened, I was so... vulnerable.

Everyone was laughing and pointing.

You can hear all the screams telling Stacey, my bully,

'Good punch!'

Or...

'Give it to her, she deserves it!'

We got sent to the office because it was getting bad.

She busted me up good..

After school I ran crying to Justin.

He knew something bad had happened and he just held me.

He was the only one there for me.

He drove me home and stayed the night with me.

Right then and there I knew I had the best friend ever.

He loved me like a sister and love him like a brother.

Nothing can break our bond.

Later that night he recieved hate messages.

One even said,

'Let me guess Katelynne has you fucking her too? Why would you let a slut even touch you?'

I was so confused.

I asked Justin what I did and he told me...

'Katelynne...

You know how you told me Joseph... you know..?'

I nodded in response thanking him for not saying it.

'Well he started a rumor that you practically begged him for it.

He told everyone you wanted him to take your card away and that you wouldn't stop trying to persuade him until he gave in.'

Tears started brimming my eyes again.

'W-what?'

I was speechless.

Why would he do this to me...?

Ever since then, I was bullied by Stacey again.

All because of 1 fucking rumor!"

I started to cry.

Kellin just held me tight and kissed the top of my head.

No matter how sad I was right now he still had the ability to make me feel nervous.

"Katelynne, that guy is a complete asshole...

Kate, I will never hurt you.

I care too much about you.

What he did was wrong, and if he ever comes back here again just let me know.

I'll have a talk with him.

Afterwards he should never bother you again.

I promise."

Kellin's words made me feel warm inside.

For the first time today I started to cry happy tears.

"Thank you, Kellin.

You made my day."

I hugged him tightly and in that moment I felt as though the rest of the world didn't exist.

He made me feel so much better right now.

Just think about it...

If he didn't come at that exact moment, I probably would've been dead.

It's scary to think about, but it's true.

Kellin Quinn just saved my life.

I'm falling harder every moment we speak.

"C'mon let's get you cleaned up, and go get ice cream or something."

After those words I got up and decided on cleaning myself up.
