Chapter 4: Conversations

Katelynne's P.O.V.:

I woke up again to the stupid sound of my alarm.

I got up to turn it off and noticed a small box.

I opened it and seen such a pretty necklace.

I took the necklace out and under was a note.

The note read;

Dear Katelynne,

I know this isn't much of a present, but I thought it would look nice on you.

I give you my best wishes and hope your birthday turns out the best.

Kellin 

I smiled to myself and began my usual morning routine.

I got dressed and did my hair.

When I finished my hair I put on the necklace Kellin gave me.

I went back downstairs and made my tea and walked out.

I plugged in my earphones and walked down to Justin's.

Disasterology came on by a small band from across the country.

Finally I made it to my best friend's house.

It looked like they were finished with practice so I went to say hi.

I waved a small hey and Kellin came up to me.

"Hi! Oh haha, your wearing the necklace."

He said scratching the back of his neck.

I nodded and smiled.

"It looks nice on you."

"Thanks."

I mumbled.

"Oh uhh, I was wondering if you wanted to do something, when you get off off school?"

"Sure."

"Uhh I'll pick you up from school then?"

I nodded and Justin came to say we were running late.

I waved a bye and started walking with Justin.

"So you and Kellin huh?"

He said with a wink.

"What?"

I asked clueless.

"How he asked you out."

"We're just gonna get like food or something."

"So a date?"

"I don't know. I've never been on one."

"It's a date."

"But he doesn't like me."

"Sure looks like it."

"Well he doesn't... No one likes me."

"Don't say that. There are probably many guys out there who like you."

Nobody likes a girl with scars.

The words echoed through my head.

We finally got to school and parted our ways.

I rushed to my locker and scurried to 1st period.

Surprisingly, I haven't seen Stacy and her little clique.
